re: Has Lebron ever been accused of anything nefarious off the court?

No it's not, that's what I was making fun of there. If the op said Kobes rape allegation, that would make sense as nefarious behavior.

Supposedly, Lebron is really devoted to his kids and is a bit of a homebody.
I've heard this too.
The LeBron James Family Foundation has spent a lot of money helping poor kids in Akron get through school. I have personally set up events for the foundation. He made a $5 million donation to St. Vincent-St. Mary's when they needed it. He knows The Decision was a really bad idea and something he shouldn't have done (the TV part and not telling the Cavs, not the going to Miami part).
He is a legitimately good person, while the older generation's basketball hero was a womanizer with a gambling addiction.

Because a lot of the world's great art was created while the artist was under the influence.
The actor who is caught with drugs, etc. is looked down upon.
The rock star - not so much.

That's exaclty why I like him so much. He came into the league hyped beyond belief, yet met expectations and handled himself very well. I was surprised at his maturity at such a young age, and I've been a fan ever since.

had that ESPN.com article pulled that painted the married man in uncompromising position and had him come off as a douche.
other than that, has done a great job protecting his image as a good father and family man.
Ill remember you as the girl with the tatoo.

LeBron is also a womanizer and had girls all over Miami with whom he had "understandings". He threw a ton of parties on his boat where he would invite these girls and their friends... and his security wouldn't allow cell phones onboard. They were very strict.
But who cares?

Most 'nefarious' thing I can remember is accepting "inappropriate" gifts his senior year of high school. Nothing actually wrong with doing that but a lot of people have a bizarre obsession with limiting the ability of amateur athletes to accept gifts or money from third parties.

Only thing that really comes to my mind is the hummer thing in high school. I have an aunt who still doesn't like him because of that.

What's "the type?"
He went to a majority white high school. I'm sure he scratched that itch a long time ago.

I don't know about "womanizer" but I've heard Marcellus Wiley allude to the fact that he definitely fricked around a lot in Miami while his then-GF was still in Akron. But it's not a big deal. He wasn't married.

So i guess we all disregard massive player tampering and collusion Lebron is involved in? Owning his own shop, controlling other player's carerrs, building his own teams and forming his weakened competition. He has his hands in tons of other pockets and the NBA denies him nothing. Its all pretty nefarious..
