So i guess we all disregard massive player tampering and collusion Lebron is involved in? Owning his own shop, controlling other player's carerrs, building his own teams
if the most nefarious thing you can throw at him is that he talked to 2 good friends and they all agreed to play together, then...you certainly got him

That's all it was? Josh Kroenke is friends with a bunch of players. If he did what Lebron did, his team would lose picks and be fined millions. The T-wolves did a handshake agreement with J. Smith and lost 3 1st round picks. Magic had to sell his interest in the Lakers before he could coach. The rules on tampering and collusion are totally straight forward. Lebron has broken them all. I get that people want to re-write his legacy and all. But the dude is a ruthless businessman and has tried to gear the league and competition to his benefit for years..

Do you have a 5 year old link bookmarked? That's your idea of nefarious?
Sure if you mean by bookmarked you mean google....while obvious you are a LeBron guy, you act like this guy isn't awesome at protecting his image.
It's standing on the shoulders of giants, guy has the most powerful entourage in sports. He's been smart....but he's not the angel the LeBronites paint him as in part to prop him up over Jordan and the like....this thread is filled with LeBronites shitting on guys like Magic (and the gay rumors) and the Jordan is responsible for his father's death rumors.

Damn some of you will try to find anything to justify your Lebron hate. Let it fricking go

When Stephon Marbury came out with his low cost basketball shoe, LeBron vehemtly complained about while simultaneously releasing his big $$$ shoe line. That kind of turned me off of him, behind that good guy exterior he's all about money and not about the people.

Not sure half the people in this thread know what nefarious means

I really dislike LeBron as a whole, but he's done a good job of not doing crappy things or keeping them out of the spotlight

So he's like most everyone else. Most of us are about money and not about the people.
I don't think he's a "good" person. He's like most people, somewhere in the middle between good and bad. I don't understand why athletes have to be "good" just because they can play a sport for millions of dollars.

Word was a kid out of wedlock with a Cleveland TV reporter. Prompted issues at home. Led to Miami decision. Got married. Returned home.

The rules on tampering and collusion are totally straight forward. Lebron has broken them all.
Regardless, since you seem so to know more about this than the rest of the basketball world, including the lawyers, please provide collusion rules and the evidence--not your speculation--that shows that LeBron clearly broke them.

I love when guys are so desperate they lash out. I proved my point already on that subject. The word "great" is totally subjective. In my mind, a solid starter that is in the league a long time and puts up good numbers on contending/successful teams is a great player. They aren't elite or awesome or legends or any number of other words I could use. Larry Hughes averaged 20+ before he went to the Cavs and was a borderline all-star. That is a great player to me. I listed over a dozen examples and you cherry picked 2 guys. Even the guys debating the point, started by acknowledging that is was true.

It's a known fact. Why do you think Gilbert backed off after he spent 100's of thousands putting together a tampering case? Everybody knows what Lebron does. He is in all the other player's ears. The big 3 all admitted that they did it. The NBA just doesn't want to go after their biggest cash cow. They squashed it. David Stern even backed league rules a few years ago, so that Lebron wouldn't be punished (LINK ). None of this is new. It's been out there for years. Heck, Lebron even violated this summer, by calling Love before he was traded to recruit him. Love said it during his press conference. It's only going to get worse as his agency and marketing companies pick up more players.
Maybe it doesn't bother you or others, but it is and always has been shady. The thread went 3 pages before I brought it up. I just thought it should be put out there..
