They called slashing and embellishment so it's 4 on 4 but the embellishment penalty was questionable

No the worst hockey game is a game where you make continual excuses.

But that was a terrible call on Ribario

Philly is taking Pittsburgh to the woodshed

Time for the Pens to go Bruins Light

Nah, known as one of the worst officiated sports for a reason. Fact.

Although no Malkin or Letang so 5 dmen and 11 forwards is really the only excuse needed. Your Habs would be in the same boat probably worse.

Philly really does play to the level of their competition. They play solid against playoff teams and lose to teams they should beat

I wouldn't know on that front, but this depleted Pens team for a season wouldn't make the playoffs. Of course they wouldn't have 5 dmen for a season but point would still stand.

They'll lose first round without Letang said it when he got hurt, and if Malkin can't get 100% it probably won't even be much of a series.

If the Flyers could find a Goalie that has any type of longevity or skill they would be dangerous.

Pens have a sneaky tough schedule to close out the year. They play 5 non-playoff teams in their last 6, but they just lost to the Flyers, the team that exists just to spite them. And now their next three are the Jackets, Flyers, and Sens... all on the road. So, the Flyers again plus two of the hottest teams in the NHL.

The Metro 2-4 seeds now all have 5 games left and are separated by a single point. Should be a fun finish.

Umm no, no it isn't. I really am not in the mood to see the Habs implode vs the Caps tonight.

I haven't been up to date on what's going on with the Habs, but why such a negative attitude?

Everyone in the Eastern Conference Playoffs right now has been playing at a "meh" level in their last 10:

Rags: 6-4
Habs: 5-4-1
Tampa: 5-4-1
Isles: 3-6-1
Pens: 3-6-1
Caps: 6-4
Wings: 3-5-2
Bruins:4-3-3

They losing to teams in spectacular fashion or just getting jumped on early where it seems just awful.

They lost to Tampa again, when they lose it is in glorious fashion either by 2 to 3 goals or give up a lead.

If it makes you feel better, the Caps MO recently is to stake teams to a two goal lead in the 1st period and then see if they can come back.

It's strange. It didn't feel like a great month, but March was the Caps best month of the season, record-wise, and now they have won 6 of their last 8. It just doesn't FEEL like they are playing all that well, though.

I miss Burakovsky.
