i dont know if true but the comments on ESPN in one of them someone said they heard locally it was a self inflicted gunshot wound, of course the media would never go with natural causes on that

He had a long history with weed, and it was cold in Boulder last night. It could have been OD, suicide, health problems, or any combination of bad things that led to his death.

I dont know I saw something on his wiki that he was getting harrassed for wanting to convert from islam to christianity, not sure if thats true or some opportunist took the chance to throw that in. If thats true and its even remotely the cause of him wanting to shoot himself, the odds of the media reporting it are 0.00%

I was there. Good ole John Mackovic defense, although the Buffs and Salaam were a force back then.

I was at that Texas Colorado game as well with my dad. He literally ran all over the Texas D. Set the all purpose school yards record for Colorado at 362.

Those buffs teams from 89-95 were legit, from Hagan and Bieniemy to Stewart, Salaam and Westbrook.

Such sad news.

Yes, incredibly sad.

He was a powerful back, so smooth. Was at the game where he broke 2,000 yds against hapless Iowa State.

He had many demons. So sad.
RIP Rashaan
