Wild. Saw him house one against the Saints in a preseason game way back when nobody went to Saints games.

RIP

Those teams with him and Kordell Stewart were fun.

Found dead in a park? and no foul play?
I don't think it's normal for a 42 year old to just go to a park at night and die without foul play or something.

Wow. I really thought he was going to be a stud for the Bears, but the dude loved to party too much.

He seemed to be doing well last time I read about him.

yea something doesn't sound right unless he had a heart attack while he just so happened to be at the park

If I'm a betting man, I'm putting my money on an OD.

It's not warm in Boulder these days, so not too much else a guy could be doing in a park by himself that would lead to his death.

(Suicide would be second guess).

He could've simply been going for a jog and had a heart attack. Hopefully it wasn't foul play. RIP. Definitely was fun to watch him back in the day.

Maybe he had some undiagnosed heart condition or something. That's me hoping for the best, because "found dead in a park at night" at the age of 42 certainly doesn't suggest a good result

Maybe, but people still go to the park (run, walk dogs, etc.) even when it's cold. Given that, this seems rather presumptuous given the multitude of reasons a person can be in a park and could die suddenly (aneurysm, heart condition, etc.).

Got his autographed rookie card back in 1995 from a random pack of football cards. WHen I opened it said something like 1 of 500 on it and had his signature. The card dealer where I bought the pack offered me $300 on the spot for the card. I hung on to it since I figured I could get over $5,000 after he went onto a HOF career. Guess I was wrong.

Yup, lot's of people do, especially if it's dry out, which it is for now.

Kevin Kaduk? @KevinKaduk

Crazy: Rashaan Salaam is the first Heisman winner of last 55 years to die. Until today, every winner since Ernie Davis (1961) was alive.

Yes, yes he did. I was there to watch it. Mackovic's defenses sucked.
