i cant stand golic, freaking ND homer who is so out of touch. Mike and Mike is by far the worst sports talk radio show on the air

Heck, he was throwing shade at a few people in the James Andrew Miller book about ESPN as a current employee.
On a related note, he had Miller on his podcast this week to talk about the updates he made to his SNL book, and he bluntly asked Simmons about his suspension. ESPN had to edit their entire conversation, and Simmons joked at the end of it by saying something to the tune of "well that last 20 minutes was great and it'll all get edited."

Agreed.
I don't hate either one of them, but their show is as lame as it gets because it's essentially ESPN's version of the same morning sports radio show literally every city in America has -- two guys, one of whom is a former athlete, neither of whom are entertaining, talking about sports without much knowledge or any nuance at all.

They have good guests. I enjoy it during football season when they have Chris Carter on and they shut up and let him talk.

There's a reason why Greenie makes $1M plus & Golic does not come close to that, but both are sucking all the time now. Rumors/lots of smoke out there that Greenie will be moving on to something else sometime in the future. Perhaps that's why Chris Carter is getting so much wkly air time lately AND expanding his comments to beyond NFL stuff.

He said he called Bill Simmons, they each said their piece, and he wasn't going to reveal any more about their conversation.
Me, personally, when it comes to critiquing college or pro athletes, I'll usually pay attention more to someone who was at least a college or pro athletes themselves over someone like Bill Simmons who probably couldn't make high school varsity for anything.
