If Jones is allowed to stay at Tennessee, Briles should still be at Baylor.

Who knows but the shite storm will be epic if he is brought back.

Hopefully, if the BOR vote to bring him back, this will be the catalyst for the Big 12 to kick out Baylor.

Baylor is the flagship of Southern Baptist culture.

Tennessee is a state school where they previously won national championships.

Jones, Kiffin, Fulmer. notice something in common? ring a bell?

Wow this is legit, Sportscenter is reporting on this now. They've got 'Ol Pawl on and he said there's no way this can happen.

It was legit as soon as it was reported that Baylor was sealing Hamilton's full report and not releasing it

eh i doubt people would protest at least enough to make a real difference. American media/citizens have gold fish like memories. I think after a few weeks it would become old news

Sure the firestorm would decrease a few games into the 2017 season. The problem would be the size of the firestorm before that point. The Big 12 would move to sanction Baylor, at least some schools would make motions to leave the conference, a title IX investigation will rain all kinds of Hell onto the school. No way Briles ever steps onto the field as Baylor's coach again.

Probably, but I'd rather weather a little temporary bad press if it meant keeping a great coach for years.

Good god you take CFB entirely too seriously if you think this is just a "little bad press".

The SMU story was entertaining because it involved money & CFB (Which everyone can agree go hand in hand). The Baylor situation is just disgusting at it's core.

no they wouldn't, no school is going to leave over baylor.

I don't think he would, but i bet they could hunker down and wait for some other stupid story to come along.
