Take it with a grain of salt, but the Baylor message boards are saying tomorrow Briles will be reinstated as head coach. Many people saying sources are saying they have the evidence is clearing his name
I'm not buying it for a second. Any Baylor fans confirm this? How could they go back ?

Won't happen and can not happen.
The latest allegation with Chafin is enough to have him gone.

ESPN and the rest of the media would create a circus if this happened.

That's what I'm saying but they said there is a BOR meeting in morning to reinstate him.

Didn't they already hire the WF guy?
I'm sure it's small in numbers, but wouldn't they have to also fork out for a breach of contract? What about Briles as well? Would he consider suit (probably not considering he's be reinstated).

Coming back to get the last of his belongings out of storage

I've been hearing that there reportedly was some kind of clause whenever he was canned stating that if things went a certain way then he would come back.
However, I haven't heard anything about it being anytime soon, let alone tomorrow.
Not sure how that would ever be possible.

From Rivals:
""I was just told this by a big donor at Baylor that the top 5 big donors (John Eddy Williams, Drake McLane and others) gathered the top 25 donors for Baylor and they all signed a petition saying they will not give Baylor another $1 if Art Briles in fired.
Briles has been suspended but not fired according to this source.
The proposal is Briles is suspended a year w/ pay and his paycheck goes to charities of rape victims none to Briles. Briles must attend complete several Title 9 classes throughout the year.
2017 Briles would return as head coach of the Baylor Bears.
The board voted this week to terminate Briles 18-15. They will re-vote next week."

I think it would be more than a little bad press. Every Baylor game next year would have protests going on IMO, home or away. It would be the center story for every one of their games.

I'd just quit if I was Briles instead of doing that shite. He can probably get in at Ole Miss before the season starts when Freeze gets shite canned
