They're nowhere close now. LeBron isn't even in my top 5, barely top 10.
Why are Alabama fans so old and stupid?

Six times to finals and six titles is better than 6 titles in 10 trips.... plus the way Bron went about changing teams and shite.

-Jordan was eliminated before the NBA Finals 9 times in 15 years

-LeBron was eliminated before the NBA Finals 6 times in 13 years

I have Jordan #1 and LeBron #2, but the argument about losing in the Finals is idiotic

Fg% doesn't determine who is the better shooter. Can't use The three point % Bc that shot wasn't a part of the game then like it is now. There' should be no debate on who was the better shooter of the two.
LeBron has a higher:

2 point shooting percentage
3 point shooting percentage
effective shooting percentage
true shooting percentage.

What facts? Show me the #s on shots considered midrange and further. That determines who's the better shooter. Not fg% when Lebron is taking many more shots at the rim.

The competition that Jordan faced and the competition that Lebron faced to get to the finals isn't close.

You can count three pt % all ya want Bubba. There's more to shooting than 3 pointers.

Why do people forget about this
I mentioned the changes in defenses over the years to a buddy of mine(huge Lebron fan) a few months ago. He was confused and downright didn't believe that it was different not too long ago.

I gave him a starting point and he went off and did some research about it.

He's still not over the shock of how they played defense back then He feels like he's been living a lie

So your measure of who's a better shooter consists primarily of a range that's considered an inefficient range to shoot from? Because you've already said I can't use 3pt%.

Man, I don't know. Maybe early on in Jordan's career, but once the Celts and Pistons faded, the east was pretty whack IMO.

It's fricking eye-opening

I'm a little less harsh on young bucks who side with MJ because they didn't really see how the game was played/how it's evolved since then.

I watch some of the old tapes from the 90s and before and shudder to think of how frightful an athlete like LBJ or Westbrook would be against the defenses of yesteryear.
