there is an argument that a very young Lebron dragging a team full of shite to the finals is more impressive than winning a title with the most talented team in the NBA surrounding the best player

Probably still loses. The Miami spacing and coaching was horrendous. Wade would be a horrible pairing with Jordan and would have held Jordan back also.

Six times to finals and six titles is better than 6 titles in 10 trips.... plus the way Bron went about changing teams and shite.

To me Buckeye06 all that jargon is just semantics.

Let's put it this way. Jordan does what LeBron did in Miami, and joins Barkley and still has Pippen. You think anyone contends with that team? LeBron lost 2 titles with his super team. Wade began to deteriorate and Bosh had some injury problems, and I understand that.

For some reason, people on this board think they are smarter than all the basketball executives who unanimously say Jordan is the GOAT.

Lebron is a top 3 player, and I hope people don't argue that. I've always said that LeBron wouldn't be LeBron without Jordan. It's unfair to LBJ in some ways, but it's true.

For him to pass Jordan to me, he would need to win probably 2 more, and take the PER title all time as well. He probably won't be able to do that, as his PER is declining as he gets older.

It's cliche, but if I'm starting a team to win a game, Jordan is getting picked before LBJ

How do you factor in Jordan's first and second round losses?

Getting to the dance and losing is worse than not getting to the dance at all?

and dominates a league for 10 plus years.
Well LeBron had 10, soon to be 11, first team All-NBA selections, and 2 second team selections.

He also has 4 MVPs, and finished 2nd twice, and 3rd three times plus a 4th, 5th, and 9th (rookie season). So he had 11 top 5 finishes (soon to be 12), and 13 top 10 finishes (every season).

He's already dominated the league for more than 10 seasons.

i've gotten in 3 separate argument with black guys at the poker table about Lebron v. Kobe

all brought up shooting. i said lebron was a better 3 point shooter. they laughed

i pulled up stats on my phone. they said that didn't count

some people you just can't argue with

But not in the Playoffs. Jordan's %s are better across the board

Fg% doesn't determine who is the better shooter. Can't use The three point % Bc that shot wasn't a part of the game then like it is now. There' should be no debate on who was the better shooter of the two.

Literally the only thing Kobe does better than LBJ is shoot but it's completely negated by the fact that Kobe had horrible shot selection.

So basically if we eliminate the facts from the argument, MJ was a better shooter. Got it.

Well they have free throw shooting percentage in their favor. Of course, 2 point shooting percentage, 3 point shooting percentage, effective shooting percentage, and true shooting percentage all favor LeBron.
