Who? Acadiana or WM? I really look for WM to go back to their triple veer this year.

Terrebonne lost by four to NISH and gave away 13 points with turnovers after starting 9-0. It came down to an onside kick....then lost to Jesuit by 3 (don't know how that is "dominating") . Mandeville is going to make a serious run this year with the best returning QB in 5A.

Terrebonne has the talent to go deep into the playoffs this season if they can get by Westgate....NISH graduated 18 starters.

Westgate returns 9 starters on defense and 6 on offense. But the biggest problem is looking for a qb.

Patterson has a very innovative staff. They might do better this year without Hilliard. Though he was important to the defense.

West gate has three college-ready defensive linemen out of that returning nine on defense. Points are going to be hard to come by against that group.

Yeah the defense might be
Stacked. But it will be hard to score against Breaux bridge, STM, and John Curtis.

That game was probably the biggest choke i have seen STM pull off in a while. Acadiana dominated them all night

Westgate is notorious for "turning it on" in the playoffs after just winning barely enough games to make the playoffs in the regular season.

The hype of that STM v. Acadiana game was just too much for those STM kids. Acadiana has played in front of crowds that size before. STM's QB was only a sophomore as well.

back to Westgate: any team on any night can honestly beat these guys, they play down to opponents all the time...but when you piss off the big boys up front...watch out!

jJ what i am referring to is how they got hammered(shaw) over improper tuition/work for tuition problems.

I cant remember Shaws case, but a lot of schools give "scholarships" to players. I was offered free tuition to De La Salle in highschool.

there are rules that they have to follow regarding tuition exemption - shaw's athletic dept and school admins weren't on same page - and had violations

there are two schools right now in an arms race for athletes - and both are pushing the rules to the limits... and the ironic thing - neither are powerhouses..

Wishful thinking. Last time they were there I was a freshman. Next year will be my 15 year reunion.
