WM's defense will be stupid good. I look for WM to return to their 90's offense and use Bubba Reeves a ton. Go back to the triple option, ball control, stifling defense, and field position. They will without a doubt be the #1 seed in the playoffs even with a loss due to the schedule this year. Madison Central MS, Cocoa Beach FL, Bastrop, and Cavalry Baptist in nondistrict games will bring 18-19 points per game. The defense will have to carry the team until the offense gets their legs under them, nothing new. If they can't score, you can't lose though.

I remember being at the STM-Acadiana semi final last year. It felt like I was at a college football game. I have NEVER seen that many people attending a high school football game that wasnt in the Superdome.

West Monroe vs Evangel in 2001 at Independence Stadium. Both were top 5 in the national rankings. 34,000 in attendance for a regular season game to see West Monroe get their only win against Evangel 34-17.

WM defense pummeled JDB that night - sadly one of the only times they got consistent pressure on an Evangel QB.

Not a chance... redemptorist and dunham will be competing for the 3rd spot in their division, behind uhigh and episcopal

ETA: the reason I say that is because they lost the QB, Collins, Hill, the head coach, and D-line coach

Look out for Patterson again in 3A this year. It's turning into a D1 factory down there. Lost Hilliard, but still have a stable of good backs led by Mark Jones and Trevon Stewart, return the QB Jones with some great targets in Declouet and Skinner. Defense should still be good led by one of the best players in the state in Lorenzo Phillips.

As I predicted, gave Parkview everything they could handle in the Dome last year and they'll be hunting for that elusive title again this year.

they will miss 2 of those listed. Collins and Hill.

They can easily win district and they play the hardest pre district schedule around

RHS is losing ALOT, Dunham seems to be on the up and up especially with the hiring of Mistretta. Parkview vs Catholic High will be a great game but Parkview will come out on top.

RHS has lost ALOT in the past before, but bounced back with new young talant..

Dunham is gonna be on the rise...Mistretta gonna have the school paying for ALOT of "football scholarships" for kids who would never have gone there before.
