so kbreezy is cedotal going to start for ds?
He has looked really good in 7on7's. His arrival has really lit a fire under last years #2, who will be a senior, and he has really stepped up his game and has been looking sharp as well
I guess the major differences between the two right now are cetadol can really run, which will give them more options with defenses having to account for kaleb Blanchard at all times, and the other fellow has the experience in denhams system

Dunham is gonna be on the rise...Mistretta gonna have the school paying for ALOT of "football scholarships" for kids who would never have gone there before.
Very very true, schools like episcopal, dunham and U High can do this, could you imagine if other private schools could? it's almost like legal recruiting

Parkview Baptist will be in the Dome this year for a 3rd straight trip. Young but BIG offensive line, the whole backfield is returning, qb is returning and #1 wr is returning. Defense loses 5 seniors but is reloading including returning 3A defensive MVP NG Tom Bove who is a Wofford commit
I heard one of those was sticking to baseball?

They were good, just ran into a WM team that was named national champs in multiple polls.
As far as predictions for the year, if Breaux Bridge doesn't atleast make it to the semifinals every coach should be fired. They have an absurd amount of talent this year.

The WR from last year #10 who was the go to guy is sticking to baseball his senior year. The other WR opposite of him is just as big, around 6'2 180lbs and is tearing it up on 7on7, him and the qb have a chemistry that is going to do some damage this year.

The team i saw last year had anything but absurd amount of talent. And FWIW Breaux Bridge has always had an excellent coaching staff. So IDK how much of it is coaching. Far more duds than studs. Cecilia probably has more overall talent than breaux bridge.

Way back in 99', a shyrone carey led Shaw team ranked number number 2 or 3 in the state lost in the first round to Acadiana after Acadiana went for 2. Scoring to make it 36-35 with just over a minute left. It was a great game. Those new orleans teams can't stop a veer offense to save their life. Ole Hank Tierney was pissed. And LOL @ their band for talking sh*t to the AHS players before the game. That was a first.

They might be in the hunt but I think we will see a rematch in the dome this year of PBS and Patterson.

jJ what i am referring to is how they got hammered(shaw) over improper tuition/work for tuition problems.

Ah, gotcha.
As far as Breaux Bridge not having talent, have you checked the recruiting board lately?

I cant remember Shaws case, but a lot of schools give "scholarships" to players. I was offered free tuition to De La Salle in highschool.

if he is eligible. Im pretty sure you can't just transfer schools for athletic reasons.

BB has offensive talent and a bad defense. They barely utilize some of their weapons on offense too, Holmes didn't even have 200 yards receiving.
They remind me of some ESJ teams that had absurd talent but couldn't come together and win in the playoffs. BB hosts Notre Dame in week 2 which will tell us a lot about both teams.

Of course he is. As ie the lineman who transferred. They lived in the DS district already, and decided to stop paying for private school. They aren't transferring within the same district or even classification, of course they are eligible

Not what i heard. I heard the kid was living in erwinville. last i check that is pointe coupee parish. Also heard he is living with a coach in denham in the fall. Also heard the ex RHS coaches are at DS. This will end up being investigated. Starting quarterbacks and pitchers don't just decide to transfer. Ever heard of undue influence?
