Agreed and I'll probably be doing the same thing. I don't have any immediate need for TYPs, but I could see them being a good card to have in the deck after getting both bonuses for my wife and I.

I think yesterday. I have 20 days before I can sign up for another BOA Alaska card, that's why I'm hoping it stays alive for 3 weeks so I can do one last round of apps for the next 6 months.

Between two people both cards twice @50k is $3200 on American. I mean, when I did next to nothing to get that much why should I sweat the value, right?
Anyways, I have so many weddings to go to. It really needs to chill out. Probably will pay for some out of pocket as not to burn some I want for later.

Amex is currently doing the 100k for 3k spend... Sounds like the code that is out there is getting run into the ground though.
I've got one for 100k/5k spend, but thats more than I want to put on the card.
Anyone have one that came in the mail for the 100/3 that wants to give me the code?

Most people in last 24 hours got using POID BUIU:0001
Word on skreet is they now also want a longer personalized offer code but people are still getting using this code but might have to huca

I had that and the personalized code.... girl told me there systems are going crazy due to all the people calling and to try back.
I have another personalized code for the 100/5, I wonder if I can mix the POID and then the other personalized code

Call in and tell them you received a mailer for the 100/3 spend... They will ask you for that poid code.

I know it's probably been discussed, but please someone remind my forgetful arse, is the Amex Plat or the Citi Prestige a better "value". They both come with Global Entry and Prestige comes with $250 credit, Amex with $200 right? the 100k is better than 50k thank you points I would presume. Free golf with Prestige on a few courses here. I need to go research.

And I asked, the 200 in airline is calendar, so can use before Jan and the use again. Don't have to wait for anniversary. So that covers the 450 fee and you get 100k points as a bonus.

it really depends on the sign up offer I suppose. Ill take a 100k plat amex all day not just because of the points but because I'm going to use the lounges this year.

I've been lurking on this thread some. Hope this helps someone. You can get the amerirprise amex plat with no annual fee for first year if you are just interested in the lounge access and other benefits. No bonus points though. Free companion cards for the first year too and those also get the Global Entry benefit but no airline credit. I signed up for this one when it came with 25/2 bonus and before the 100/3 regular amex plat offers started floating around.
