Its B.S. the SEC comes out with a statement before the game is even over. Having a statement ready that quick shows they were looking to this game to call that penalty and that was their weak arse excuse.

If anything, the penalty should have been added on to the kick-off O_

They changed the rule. That would have happened last year.

It is crazy to think that he go this penalty before Tyrann gets one for taunting and talking trash! They shouldn't have called it!

That is the dumbest penalty and dumbest rule (if called correctly) in football.

It's a bunch of middle aged white guys instituting a "sportsmanship" rule to make them feel good about themselves. What bullshite.

I wasn't expecting to see that penalty called on us until the Bama game.

Lol I was thinking the same I figured we'd see it against Bama with the game on the line while scoring the go ahead or nail in the coffin TD

May be the single worst call i have seen in the 60 years I have I have been watching cfb. He's a punter. He wasn't im the meeting when the staff presented the new rules.

Danielson said it was a good call.

Technically it was, but there's something about a skinny, 175-lb. punter for waving his little matchstick arms in the air for a second ... that just doesn't seem very taunting to me.

So by the rule book, the taunting must be egregious.

egregious [?'gri?d??s -d???s]
adj
1. outstandingly bad; flagrant an egregious lie
2. Archaic distinguished; eminent
[from Latin egregius outstanding (literally: standing out from the herd), from e- out + grex flock, herd]
egregiously adv
egregiousness n

By this definition, that was a terrible call.

Do you not remember the extra point at Auburn?

Definition of Flagrant: Conspicuously or obviously offensive.

Turning back towards the opposition and taunting them is pretty obvious.

It was the right call no matter how people want to try and spin it.

it was the correct call

and i like the rule, unlike other people. any other penalty during the play cancels the TD, why not an unsportsmanlike conduct?

They called it this week to set a precedent for LSU so it wont look as biased when they do call it in the BAMA game.

Announcers can now say LSU has a history of taunting when BAMA refs use the penalty to take away a vital touchdown.

Because every other penalty gives the team being penalized an advantage the skewed the play!
How did Wing saying come at me mate give an unfair advantage to LSU?
