watch the video again. it looks like he thought the play was going outside and the defender cut it. it happens in football. the guy's piling on him need to ease up "charlie." whatever that means.

looks more like he was getting out of the guys way. if he thought the play was going outside, he must have not been paying attention at practice. he's not a every down player. he has only a few plays that he's on the field. he should be able to execute those few plays.

Nobody is piling on him. Everyone here, I think, understands that every player on this team, freshman or not, will make mistakes. We are just discussing what went wrong on a single play and I don't see anything wrong with that. Jazz is a talented freshman receiver that we are excited to have on our team.

Freshman mistake. The CB played it aggressively, and he was confused by the route taken by said CB.

right, but because of this one play he is lazy and not qualified to play regardless of what the coach's think. what do they know. TD posters know best

Well, next week we should use the same package and when the msst cb diagnoses the play and cuts inside of Jazz, Harris should fake the throw to Guice and instead loft it to an open Jazz who streaked past his cb. Would work awesome and open the play up in the future as the defense won't know if we're throwing the sweep or faking it.

These are exactly the types of plays that we needed a full game full of to help teach some of these guys heading into next week.
Unfortunately, we're going to have to make our mistakes on the road against a MSU team that already knows a bit about itself.
