Yes he did look lost.

It looks like he didn't even realize that the DB was there, even though he was literally RIGHT THERE, until he was past him and nailing Guice.

We ran a play that everyone saw on twitter a million times last week. They knew it was coming.

I procrastinated all through college, even during spring when there was no football season.

it would be great if we threw it the WR the next time too.

Yep. THIS is what they are setting up. When the State CB shoots inside Jazz will take three or four steps forward, and Harris will throw behind the CB. V

The McNeese player started his angle to the outside of the harsh mark. Once the defender committed in the same direction, the McNeese player simply juked back to ouinside of the hash mark. The defender couldn't make the correction due to the McNeese player speed.

Jazz lost inside leverage because the defender diagnosed the play very quickly.

idk why you go with jazz there instead of like Diarse.

We were obviously trying to get as many freshmen on the field as possible in the first drive. We know Diarse can play.

Looks like it could have been Dillon Gordon providing the "shield" for the punter.

Whoever the hell it was, they need to use better technique next time.

I would bet that this is a prelude to NO passes to the tight end with endless toss dives to Fournette.

It got them a first down you dolt. The D is going to know plays. How do we ever stop anything? If people dont block, it doesnt matter what play you run.

exactly. was back supposed to go inside our out? did the play develop enough for him to even make the block? you guys are insufferabley difficult to please. no wonder these guys declare early. the fans don't support them.

WTF?

You make the block and the back works off your effort.

In that play, the blocker takes the defender where the defenders momentum is taking him... you just move him away from the ball in either direction... the back makes the cut.

You guys that never played football are insufferably difficult.

classic example why an otherwise good call fails, and people blame play calling. the guy has one job to do. i hope he was informed that his job out there wasn't to watch the guy he was responsible for blow up the play in our backfield.

What do you think happened? Didn't understand his blocking responsibility? Poor technique? Lazy blocking? Amazing play by defender?

True freshman playing on fourth play of the game... Made a mistake. Like it or not LSU Staff is very high on this young man for now and especially the future. Very high ceiling is the feeling I have heard. Since he was on the field at that time I suspect that is an accurate assessment.

The people calling him out for lack of effort have not business being LSU fans. It must be convenient for you to simplify things in your mind to fit your negative narrative but to accuse him of being lazy when the play's timing just didn't work out is sad.

you don't put a trFR in that position. Should have been diarse blocking

easy up charlie, all he had to do was get in the guy's way. he wasn't asked to work up a formula for how much fuel it would take to send a rocket to mars.
