1. USC
2. LSU
3. Miami
4. Alabama
5. Texas

Thats how i see the top over the next 3 years. Tebow, is a once in a lifetime guy..I think florida will win this year and take a dive cause they will all leave for NFL as RS soph and Jrs with the sr.

My only concern is the Miami program coming back. As long as Texas A&m stays down..LSU will continue to be top 5..

What you meant to say is Tebow is the messiah.

Florida won a national title with Chris Leak as the primary guy, so I don't see your point. Florida actually utilizes their talent, so you having LSU on the list and not Florida is both laughable and extremely homerish of you.

Wouldn't that make him twice in a lifetime?

Take off your P&G glasses.
I still think LSU is in top ten for the next 3 years, just not a national title contender.

Yea, because of all the direct or indirect correlations you could come up with, somehow Texas A&M being down means LSU will stay near the top? The top five programs the next few years, in no particular order, will be Florida, Alabama, USC, Texas, and Ohio St.

Florida has recruited VERY well. I doubt they take much of a fall. Agree, Tebow is the man. Where would our Tigers be if he or Colt McCoy came here? If only......

If they are on a BCS run, it will be hard to get him away. However, I do believe that Notre Dame is going to pull the trigger soon. They only have two candidates - if they can come up with around $4.75 to $5 million they can probably get either. They may just make a run after the loser of the SEC-CG.

(ETA - they may have three candidates, the third being Gruden - however, I think they will take a proven college head coach, namely Meyer or Saban, over Gruden)

I'm dropping the numbers but in some order, I say LSU, Alabama, Texas, Florida, and probably Oklahoma.

LSU is a top 5 program easily. LSU Has Depth, young Depth at every position....Good programs arent always about star quality..I agree Ohio St is a top 10 program but depth wise not like the other teams...When Miami signs that solid 3rd qb to go with Harris and HIghsmith...they again will have quality depth

It's in Saban's nature to build teams, not to sustain them. So while it may be false hope for me to think that he won't be sticking around Alabama for more than a few more years, I would think that he would strongly consider the possibility of ND at least.

I think that he might even consider the opening at Florida, should the number$ be right, and should Notre Dame get Meyer (who is their first choice.) But, beyond that, Notre Dame would be attractive to him, as would Penn State, for various reasons.
