I love these preferential surface level observations. Livingston a loss to lament? With Brockers and Freak to work the middle, that is not an issue. Nevis, ok, but Livingston is hardly a topic for lost sleep.
And is this guy familiar with the early season shallacking of VaTech at the beginning of 2007 with a new OC? Obviously not.
Does this guy realize that our most loaded position is our defensive backfield with Claiborne, Mathieu, Brooks, Reid, Simon, Loston and Taylor all with major skills and also with experience? PP7 is a loss, but our DBackfield may be better OVERALL than 2010.
Does this guy not realize how good Ware and Ford are? Ridley was a great runner with good vision, but these 2 guys are not a dropoff and could very well give us a better OVERALL running game.
And give the Miles a chance to game plan for a road game on turf, and look at the results you will find. It is very impressive in the Hat's favor. Just ask Miami, Ohio State, Notre Dame, TAMU, etc...
Oregon will throw similar variation of its offense at LSU with some wrinkles. LSU has all off-season to scheme and prepare and watch the fast and athletic Dlines of Cal and Auburn. which are not as fast and atheletic (overall) as what LSU will throw at Oregon next year, especially with Freak in the Oregon backfield right off the ball just like Fairley in the BCS nCG.
Shepphard is the real loss, but something tells me that the return of 2 out of 3 starters and a bevy of strong Chief-coached LB's like Minter will have us in above average LB shape. Shepphard
s leadership on the field will be a loss, but it is not something we cannnot make up for.
These guys need to re-think their assessment.
LSU may just roll them in VaTech 2007 fashion. More likely it will be something like LSU 34 Oregon 20.
Thank you very much.

he unveiled a retarded new three back offense for the biggest game of his career that looked like shite, he decided to leave Nick Fairley completely unblocked 40% of the time and generally coached like a 15 year old playing Madden online.
now I know we have nothing to worry about

Silly Oregon fan doesn't realize we are expecting a high-school kid to perform 'just like' the first pick of the NFL draft.

You can't even begin to imagine the stupidity of the fans and the media out here in Pac-10 land. It just will make it so much sweeter for me when I return from Dallas after we turn the ducks into gumbo.

I have a feeling we are going to have a 2007 vatech-style massive beatdown of oregon that will propel us into the national spotlight. This moron doesn't even acknowledge that Oregon won't know what to prepare for with respect to our offense, with a new OC.
An Oregon beatdown, plus the fact that we have espn-fave miles back, and the fact that LSU has won the last two national title games played in nola (03, 07) and the inevitable attention we will get for that, plus the "who's next from the SEC to win it all" hype, would help set the stage for a special season. I can't freaking wait for september.

On fourth and one, at the one yard line, with the game on the line, Chip kelly runs his smallest back right at Nick Fairley, who he hasn't slowed down all game. Not even a power blocking scheme, but rather a "misdirection" angle cut at the line.
That is not good coaching, that is actually some dumb sh-t.
I had a much higher opinion of Kelly before the game.

they didn't lose certifiably insane head coach Les Miles to Michigan. Just ask yourself this question: Who wins the coaching duel between Chip Kelly and the Mad Hatter? That's like asking who's smarter: Stephen Hawking or Paris Hilton? Advantage: Oregon.
No respect at all. This guy and Oregon's fans will be crying again after being spanked by their Daddy.

I'll take Paris in this one, she's smart where it counts

quote:Because he wasn't outschemed by Dooley. LSU outgained UT 2 to 1. UT stayed in the game due to turnovers, which isn't a scheme issue. And it was Dooley who made the bigger collasal bonehead decision at the end of the game.
Les outcoached Saban and Francione, yet was outschemed by Dooley and the likes... makes no sense really.
And I love the SNL Reagan analogy. I love that everyone underestimates Miles. It's an asset.

Kelly smarter than Miles? Sure, I’ll give you that one. But the trail of tears in the SEC will tell you that just because you think you won the game, and even if the refs tell you you’ve won the game, you havent really won the game.
