I heard a lot of talk about your running game. If you depend on the run you will be in trouble. The Ducks know how to stuff running teams and have been noted for it for years.

really...then why did Auburn run for over 250 yds then?

Auburn had a passing game. Newton had some sparkling stats for the year. He missed some wide open receivers during the NC, but the pass had to be respected. This is what I mean when I said if you can pass, it opens things up.

I'd put Stanford or USC against any team in the country. The PAC12 isn't all that easy. Even UW beat Nebraska. You do have some easy conference games also. Didn't you have a little trouble with Tennessee? Hmm... and we spanked them how badly?

The Ducks aren't the second coming by any means, but they shouldn't be taken lightly. We certainly aren't taking LSU lightly. I should say us fans anyway.

I want a home and home with LSU. I need an excuse to get back to Louisiana. We had a road trip last year and we had our very best times in North Carolina and Lousiana. We drove the northern tier of states, down the eastern seaboard and across the gulf states. LA was our favorite, well maybe tied with Carolina Beach. I so loved the food we found in LA. Highlight of the 8700 mile trip. We spent a fortune for good food in New York city and it wasn't even close. (southern Wyoming is absolutely crap, don't go there)

actually you all had your hands full with UT the first half and love how everyone keeps bringing up the UT game and know very little of it other than seeing the ending on sports center...how about actually going and look at stats and see how dominate LSU was in that game...it's the 5 turnovers that kept UT in that game and I don't care who you are playing it's very difficult to over come that many turnovers and STILL win the game...if Oregon had 5 turnovers in that game I'm sure they would gave struggled to win also...

Agreed. It will also be 2 somewhat different teams in Dallas, so I'm not sure why all the bickering over either of the 2010 versions.

Because of the Oregon writers prospective of the Superior Duck team to our so-called dumb arse coach and our one dimensional team.

Les Miles is a fricking GENIUS! He is so smart, he's got every coach, sportswriter, blogger, and Non-Tiger fan (and some so-called Tiger fans) convinced that he is a complete fricking blithering idiot.

And then the media-darling, so-called coaching "gurus" like Sabin, Meyer, Tressel, Stoups, Spurrier, Beamer, etc., etc., etc. walk away with their dicks in the dirt and wonder, "How do I keep losing to this dumbass?"

So ONE fan of a team that went 12-1 and lost a very close game in the NCG to finish #2 in the country, and that returns their star starting QB and Heisman Finalist RB is optimistic about their chances next year? The fricking HORROR!!!!!!!!!

I've always believed we were weak at DE when we had to start Pep. I cannot say we will do any better at that position in 2011.

It all depends on the LSU defense. Chavis is absolutely horrendous against the spread. Auburn showed you must get penetration upfield in order to have success. Chavis likes to play soft and read and react.

Does LSU have the lineman to get pentration if Chavis changed up his scheme? Not sure with Nevis leaving.

LSU players often looked winded in games because the defense is on the field so much as a result of poor play calling on 3rd down defense. With oregons frantic pase LSU D could be winded by 3rd quarter.

Or it was because the offense was garbage all year and had trouble sustaining drives. You really blame the D for being on the field too much?

Has anyone told Oregon that we have 3 5 star Tailbacks on the team waiting for Ridely to leave?

Hello!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LSU just gets better with some game experience..

Talent is not an issue

Ware looks like he will be a better back all the way around...

Ford
Gore!
Hillard!
Blue!
Maybe Hill!

RB and DB's are our strongest positions right now

2 areas that Oregon claims they smell blood in the water...

Oregon is an excellent team. I like LSU's chances in this game but it sure as hell makes me nervous opening the season with the ducks
