This morning on Sirriusxm he said that LSU at #5 is "a complete joke". He also said "they might, might be a top 20 team at best". He said that they are "the same team as last year with an archaic offense".
Lol! It's funny how other teams are improve due to another year of maturity but LSU will be the same or worse despite returning 18 starters.

This guy continues to crucify LSU. And it's purposely done. Any legit writer could acknowledge that LSU has a lot going for it. But it's how today's media operates. Ignore the facts and push your agenda.

Sad thing is this thread will be filled with some fans high fiving each other over those ridiculous comments. They love the negativity.

Do you want to text him and tell him yourself?

LSU returns 17 starters. Lacatoure is out for the year.

Not everyone has to love LSU, but this guy seems to have made it his mission to trash this team. Like Robert Smith levels.

Regardless of whether it's 17 or 18 returning starters, teams improve a lot when they return veterans. I can't stand ignorance. Salee will be that guy who says a NC LSU Tiger team really wasn't the best team. Those type of journalist piss me off.

LSU is a top 10 team that will finish no worse than 2nd in the west despite an offense that should be more wide open with the talent it has. Everyone knows Les will keep running the ball even when it won't work (like Bama game last year).

Think the Defense will be a lot of fun to watch.

Special Team wasn't anything to write home about.

Offense, am hopeful we loosen it up so the athletes can play, still have QB concerns.

Potential for a great run is present

He's 100% correct.

Also, he's just following the Finebaum/Travis/Kanell model of making a name for himself by constantly trolling a fan base. Quit giving him attention and he'll move on to another fan base.

How do people feel about the offense we saw in the bowl game? Same old but against a terrible defense, or was it something different?

I genuinely love when there are a few dudes like this out there.

I find myself thinking about them when we win.

Seriously, who cares? We'll either prove him right or wrong on the field. I think we'll prove him wrong but he, nor I, know at this point what's going to happen this fall.

I think the premise is wrong. It's perception of being good in the run game vs. being good in the passing game. LSU is multiple in many ways in its run game. While Cam Cameron has always had some great backs, his running backs at Indiana, San Diego, Miami (Ronnie Brown until he tore his ACL), and Baltimore were all highly productive. It just doesn't happen by accident.

If you took Cam's run game production and made it the passing production equivalent, we're not having this discussion. He's managed to have this type of running game while getting solid play out of his quarterbacks. Every QB who has started for at least two seasons in Cam's system has either finished top 10 in the Heisman voting, been a college All-American, been a Pro Bowler, or went on to win a Super Bowl. Every single one, and that doesn't count Mettenberger who only played one.

Fact is, Brandon Harris played pretty darn well last season up until the Alabama game. Alabama made most QBs they played look pretty crummy. They were stung by it and didn't recover until the bowl game. If Brandon stays healthy this year, watch out.
