re: Lowell "Junior" Narcisse Announcement Party (7/27 @ 6pm) - wfallstiger
Sure miss the old days of recruiting media coverage where one MIGHT have gotten a black and white still photo in the local newspaper of one signing paperwork with the family and possibly a coach huddled around watching...but I'm old...

re: When and how did you decide on your career path? - wfallstiger
Wanted to be a physician, not smart enough in the sciences...opted to be an administrator of a hospital, instead, and chose Social Work as the route...met that goal and about 15 years ago the desire to pastor came about. Retired as an administrator, three years ago, and now serve as a pastor....not...

re: How often do you go a day without spending any money? - wfallstiger
I don't think my wife nor I go a day without spending any money, one of us will purchase something. Now, I think I could go quite a few days without buying something but the wife, not a chance, as she is always saving me money on the items she purchases...:-)...they are called Grandchildren...and t...

The price of crude oil has been down by some 50% for the past six months - wfallstiger
and have wondered if items we purchase, excluding gasoline, such as groceries and the likes have fallen accordingly? I recently asked this on Political Talk, some few months ago, and got some pretty unwelcome responses...for example, was accused of being progressive and anti-business which is the f...

re: Trump threatens third-party run - wfallstiger
A viable third Party has to emerge to interrupt the circle of insanity of our current form of governance as the two current major Parties have got us meeting ourselves coming and going..Is Donald Trump the one to lead such, I have my doubts....

re: Freshest Murder Victim in Nola this AM - wfallstiger
No, not at all. Just weary of slogans like 'Black Lives Matter' when the homicide rates portray the opposite and weary of politicians who would rather chase windmills than confront the carnage within their environs....if one's life truly matters and if a politician truly wishes to serve the public ...

re: Anyone watch MTV's White People - wfallstiger
No, as I have earned everything I have and owe no one an apology. My folks put me in a position to be successful and I chose to honor their sacrifices by living a decent and moral life to date, though I could have easily done otherwise, and have sought to do the same for our children and grandchild...

re: Neighbor question - wfallstiger
Tell her that you appreciate her perspective, that you have been mindful to entertain her opinions but it would really be helpful if she would allow you to broach the subject with her given that you realize God has a plan for your life and sorting that out is a very personal journey and that she be ...

I work on the premise it belongs to my Dad, for his needs, and not any of the three children. Mother is deceased. We have tried to plan for our children and hope circumstances allow for them to inherit...

re: RE: Obama's 2008 Campaign Pledge to 'Fundamentally Transform' America - wfallstiger
Am unlikely the best person to answer this because I have precious little agreement for the Party this President belongs to, much less his positions. With that said, yes, I do believe he has tried to 'fundamentally transform America' in two ways and has been pretty successful: 1) Abroad, I beli...
