LSU's offense is not archaic.
The implementation has been inefficient in the last couple of years thanks to youth, lack of execution, and poor play selection at times. But saying it's archaic is just false.

The Harris bashing is overblown. He wasn't great last year and needs to improve but he wasn't as bad as the narrative tries to say he was.
Sallee is obvious in his troll attempt. Having doubts is one thing but saying it is a joke is just ridiculous. They return the maybe most starters in the country from a team that only lost 3 games. Not like they went 6-6. LSU got bashed for years because of all the turnover in their lineup and now they have a bunch of returning starters and they are being bashed for that.

I can't believe I'm responding to this, but this is hilarious.
We finished in the top 20 last year and we return more starters and experience than anyone in college football, we improved our DC dramatically, and both ST and the offense should improve naturally with another year in the same system with same players.
To say we aren't top 5? Ok, fine.
To say we'll literally be worse than last year with everything we have going for us? Illogical at best.

This guy's argument always seems to be that even though players on other teams can improve year over, players on LSU's team cannot.

Honestly I'm a little worried about our OL. If those guys don't step up(very little depth) I think it could be a 3 loss season. If they do we have a good shot at going undefeated imo. We are that talented. I know this isn't groundbreaking news but It's my only concern.

ignore all talking heads. They don't know any more than you - and they actually know less because they don't follow LSU as closely.
Ignore them all. The only thing that matters is winning the West and getting to Atlanta, where a win there puts us in the playoff. Opinions of pollsters, TV, and radio pundits is irrelevant.

Guys, if LSU wins the SEC they will be in the CFB Playoffs. If LSU does not win the SEC but is a one loss team, it has a good shot. Otherwise, LSU will not be in the CFB playoffs. What Barrett Sallee (or even someone reputable like Bruce Feldman) says means absolutely nothing.

This is the only area I am going to be completely negative. Special teams is not going to improve as long as Peveto is in charge, IMO. He's a joke of a coach.

From past history and results where is he exactly wrong?
Les hasn't changed so why would their opinions of LSU change all of a sudden?
It's not the sport shows host fault for having this opinion right now. It's LSU's and Les Miles until he proves otherwise.

Hew was on local radio here in Little Rock last week and of course same song. He's put all his eggs in this basket and he says it with a tone of hate/revenge, something.
