re: Official: Purdue QB transferring to LSU - trooploop
How long do you think it should take to develop a QB? If Harris does well this season, or at the least shows marked improvement, it could be said he's done a fine job at developing his QB. Jennings wasn't a Cameron recruit and clearly evaluation was an issue there.
Agreed. Harris w...

I'll be shocked if this isn't a 37+ point per game offense in 2015. ...

re: Tears of a Coach - trooploop
Former Indiana baseball player Kyle Schwarber made his first major league start last night and was 4-for-5. He hit one of the most ridiculous blasts I've ever seen at Ameritrade. It landed on the warning track. That's the best I've got....

Tears of a Coach - trooploop
Still not sure of all of the rules on this board so if this isn't allowed please feel free to pull it. Indiana had a very good safety arrested two days ago for selling coke, meth, and heroin, as well as possessing a firearm. I thought this blurb was interesting because it gives a little perspective ...

re: Clifton Garrett to JUCO - trooploop
I'm from the Chicago area and went to see him play one game during his senior year. I thought he was vastly overrated and said as much on the recruiting board, which I got killed for, rightfully so, because he was yet to sign. After the game I texted this to a friend of mine on the LSU staff, "Hones...

re: Softball question: why square to bunt and pull back to swing away - trooploop
I should be more clear. If one or both of your feet are completely out of the box upon contact with the ball the batter is out. If the foot is touching the line that is legal. ...

re: Tony Dorsett 2.0 and I'm not joking - trooploop
He reminds me a bit of Mike Hart, former Michigan running back, at the same stage, although Mike got a bit thicker his last two years of high school. I'll be interested to see how well he runs. The kid has a chance but I also see why schools seem to be in a bit of a wait-and-see mode with him. T...

re: Q and A with Cam Cameron - trooploop
I think it's funny how Cam seems to be blamed for a decade of fairly mediocre play even though he's only been here for two years. Every quarterback that Cam has worked with for any decent length of time has turned out to be pretty darn good. Hard for me to believe that he can't so it again. I thi...

Lacrosse is really growing in Florida. The University of Michigan had been a club program for a long time and now plays at the DI level. Played at the highest levels it's an entertaining sport, especially in person. ...

Yep, big time player. Hate that he's already playing the twitter LSU vs. Bama game. If you don't want to commit don't commit. This committing and then acting like you aren't sure what you want to do it garbage. ...

re: No LBs or OGs - trooploop
If the "greatest Prep RB since Adrian Peterson" showed out better at LB than RB, our coaching staff would be idiots to not play him there. You'd be talking about HOF level abilities.
I know I'll get laughed at but I think his best pro potential would be at linebacker. ...

re: No LBs or OGs - trooploop
I don't think 7 will convert to LB...just a guess. agree that he could play the position.
Ha, I don't think he's changing either. Although this video is fun. 2:00 mark, 2 plays at 3:30 mark and 7:15 mark. Looks like a linebacker to me. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiekNoXpm...

re: Derrick Dillon...one of the best pure athletes I've seen - trooploop
we honestly need some quick burst guys on offense. we have a lot of power but other than Dural there wasn't much game breaking speed out there
Very true. The dimension that made Cam's offense so tough in San Diego was Darren Sproles. A true change-of-pace back. I was actually disap...
