re: Most Boring CWS in my lifetime - trooploop
When Kyle Schwarber and Sam Travis hit absolute monster shots for Indiana about three years ago that landed at the warning track that told you all about you needed to know about the stadium. I actually like pitcher's duels but I just can't get engaged in the CWS this year and it's not because LS...

re: Most Boring CWS in my lifetime - trooploop
It really has been a snore fest. The WCWS was so much more entertaining. Yesterday's Coastal/TCU game in prime time had 763,000 viewers. By comparison, LSU-JMU softball super regional game at NOON had 637,000. All three of the Oklahoma-Auburn series had over 1,000,000 viewers and that was do...

This year's offense will average a minimum of 37.5 point per game and quite possibly exceed 40 ppg. It will be dynamic. ...

re: Things are looking good to land Cam Akers - trooploop
Say what you want about Cam Cameron but if I'm a running back, something to ponder: Cam's last tailback at Indiana led the nation in all-purpose yardage and averaged 7.1 yards per carry San Diego - LaDainian Tomlinson Miami - For the first seven games of the season before being injured Ronn...

re: Women's softball>>>Women's hoops - trooploop
Much more pleasing sport to watch. It's actually fun to watch these girls. When Auburn was good in women's hoops I tried to watch, but I just couldn't do it. Bored me to tears, but softball is another story.
Fastpitch is much more entertaining. Not even close in my mind. Fastpitch...

re: As hard as it is for me to say, Auburn's softball team was awesome - trooploop
As a spectator, is fastpitch softball the most entertaining female sport? It is for me and it's not even close. Amazing how much that sport has grown over the last 20 years. ...

re: Bye Week Before Bama - trooploop
Why do we continue to do this? It's clearly not working. Why not change it up a bit? Stop putting so much pressure on these kids and emphasis on this game. Let's just try to instill in these kids that Bama is just another game. Maybe that'll work. K thx bye
I think it would benefit...

re: Softball is so much more enjoyable than baseball - trooploop
I enjoy fastpitch a ton. Not sure we need to compare baseball and softball but the growth of fastpitch has been fun to watch. Great sport for TV because it's fast paced, field is small, and games are only two hours. Easily the best female sport for me and it's not even close. ...

re: Softball Harrisonburg Super Regional LSU 2 @ JMU 3 Final JMU leads 1-0 - trooploop
Megan Good's story is pretty interesting. One of the rare kids these days who played four years of basketball, volleyball, and softball. She also played on the "B" travel circuit until really late in her high school career, really because playing three sports would preclude her from playing the othe...

re: JMU softball... - trooploop
Mickey Dean, the coach at JMU, has recruited very successfully from the Beverly Bandits travel program, which is based in Chicago. Carly Hoover played for them at Nationals, Sydney Smith played for them for several years, as did Oregon third baseman Jenna Lilley and Michigan shortstop Abby Ramirez....

re: NCAA Softball Tourney LSU #10 SEED vs. LIU-Brooklyn, Friday - trooploop
JMU is legit. One of the things that they really have going for them is they truly have two top-notch starters. They have wins this year over Auburn, Tennessee, Arizona (twice) and a one-run loss to Bama. Mickey Dean is a very good coach. Played three games against SEC opponents in 2016 and gave up ...
yes, im familiar with him. He was a great athlete but a terrible passer. Good runner.
He was not a terrible passer. He was the first player in NCAA history to throw for 40 touchdowns and rush for 40 touchdowns. He also had a cannon. [link=(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh...
