We probably should all plan to bring our proof of vaccination with us to CA.

Flying in to LAX on Tuesday. Marina Del Rey VRBO until Friday and then Pasadena (just across from stadium) VRBO through Sunday.

Will be a blast - tailgate will be set up Friday. Don’t know where just yet but you’ll see it. 25 flags.

I had a golf trip planned in late august and me and a buddy got drunk and decided to go to this game. Unfortunately because of said golf trip and work, we had to limit our time in Cali.

We get in around 8 Pm Friday, staying at an air bnb about 45 min walk from the rose bowl, then fly out Sunday morning. Will be rough but worth it watching the sunset in the stadium and a tiger arse kicking.

quote:

Tailgating on the golf course is open to everyone who parks there, after you enter and pay you will get directed by the parking attendants to a spot, it's just rows of cars parked directly on the grass.

If you don’t park there can you still pay to go to these tailgates?

I am debating renting a car or just Uber. Uber is usually good getting to the game but not great leaving and I stay to the end. One question I have is there pay parking at the Rose Bowl?

Also I keep reading you can walk from the Rose Bowl to Old Pasadena (2 miles) after the game but when I map the walk it looks like you have to cross multiple interstate lanes. Is it feasible and safe to walk?

Wife and I are flying into Burbank Thursday. Sight seeing on Friday and seeing John Williams conduct the LA Philarmonic at the Hollywood Bowl Friday night. Tickets were super reasonable if you’re into music. LINK

Pasadena, tailgating, game on Saturday.

Disneyland Sunday.

Fly home Monday. We’re pumped!

YOu can walk back and not have to cross a freeway directly. I think you walk under in on Colorado Blvd.

Renting a car and flying into Ontario on Friday. Going to hit the LSU alumni bar in Santa Monica. Jameson’s pub, see the freaks in Venice beach, then game day Saturday. Sunday will be a day trip to San Diego then flying out Monday morning.

Is it a safe part of town walking on the streets after dark?

So if I rent a car and want to tailgate on the golf course, how early before kickoff do you suggest to arrive to secure a decent parking spot? How much is it to park on the golf course?

Is anyone else going to be in the Manhattan Beach area and interested in sharing a private car with my buddy and I?

We could probably get 4-6 guys in a Tahoe/Suburban. Looking about $200 round trip.

We’ll be in Redondo Bch.

As of right now there will be 10 of us in south RB, looking for a way to transpo to the Rose Bowl.

Why wouldn’t you have flown into SNA?
