Who cares? Bands never made a difference and the less opposing fans in our stadium the better. Screw em'.

During the 2012 and 2014 games one of the less important useless drum majors would sit at the ready and watch LSU's band. Then when LSU got up to play he'd get the attention of the important drum major and Alabama would cue it up and play over LSU's band. There was an editorial in the advocate about it. I'd expect you to defend your million dollar trash band.

Just sorta reminds me of Long stopping the circus at the Texas border for a health inspection because they were supposed to open the night of an LSU football game.

This was def a move to stick it to Alabama, and I'm all for it. Can't stand that bullshite band. It's bad enough when we have to listen to them on the road. I don't wanna have to listen to them play over TGBFTL in TS too.

That's just pussified to the extreme and, at best, a horrid overreaction if true. I can't believe all the sandy vaginas cheering this lameness on.

Yeah, hurr durr, we'll show 'em!

If not allowing them to perform at halftime means they don't bring their entire band, and we get more fans in the stadium, I'm all for it.

I like big SEC game atmosphere, the way it's always been. Heated, contentious, etc. Silly me, I guess I'm just goofy like that.

You'll get more fans. But they won't be LSU fans...

How is that pussified? You enjoy watching another band march around our field? Not me. We don't get invited to their stadium? Who cares? Open up the seats for our fans. Give the opposing team the least amount of cheer and "sameness" they usually feel.

Why any fan would be opposed to this is mind boggling. Who cares?

It was pretty cool to see the Notre Dame band in 97 and the A&M band the last two home games.

Odd. They've had enough room down there for both bands for the last 92 years. I wonder why they don't now?

Indeed. But, I understand tradition AND I don't have a vagina full of sand, so I think that still puts me ahead of you.

It doesn't open seats for our fans because opposing band seats come from the tickets allotted to visitors.

I love it. Prevents other teams from bringing a full band which means more tickets for LSU fans in some instances. Anyone who doesn't like this policy is crazy.

Anyone go to Notre Dame back in the 90s when they made our band sit on the field in the corner? That's the worst treatment I've ever seen. Put them at the opposite corner from our fans.
