No matter what happens in the bowl game, the heat needs to be on Les after the season we had. He needs to be accountable for the way those four losses happened. The offense, the quarterback play, the special teams, and the avoidable inept defense at the beginning of the year were all unacceptable.
With the quarterback that we have coming back next year, and Les' stubborn insistence on playing him, and his insistence on playing him the way he plays him, another four loss season is a very real possibility, which would be a travesty knowing that we have a roster filled with players like Fournette, Dupre, Jamal Adams, and Beckwith.

I'm super excited for many more 3-4 loss seasons under Leslie.

Patron saint of mediocrity
Parton Saint of Reality...Fixed it for you. I have come to realize that acceptance of reality is a healthier mental posture. That does not in any way have anything to do with what I would do if I were AD. It only has to do with what is highly likely that LSU and Miles will do.
We are going to get 9-or-more wins in 2015 and also in 2016. I personally do not deem 9 wins as successful for the LSU team. 10 is the minimum. 11-or-m0re is my personal definition of success for an LSU team since we most definitely are a top-5-resourced team (talent, facilities, etc...)
All that is immaterial to my post. My post is only stating that Miles is ours - all of him. We have a personal choice to make, and your personal definition of success has no bearing on the reality that will be in place for at least the next 3 years. 9-or-more wins in 2015 and 2016 guarantee a 2017 Miles-coached team, so rap your mind around that reality and support the Tigers are best as you can.

I've made my mark in the world and I'm still looking for the first person with a negative attitude that did anything significant, r u him?

Actually I completely agree with you. My remark was not accurate. I see it pretty much the same way, but hope against hope that it will be different(better).

I'm sure Stalin just said all the haters had a negative attitude. Delusional optimism worked out great for the USSR in the end.

With all due respect to all concerned: whether due to his age or his reputation for coaching ability/disability or due to some other reason, no other school or pro team wants Les Miles to be their head coach.
Maybe back in 2007 Michigan was interested. But, in my most humble opinion, nobody has been seriously interested in Miles since then.
My opinion is based on my observation of various facts and the logical conclusion derived therefrom.

Even though I totally disagree with you, this was great news for lsu. Miles has coached lsu to the most successful tenure in history. Lsu wins.

I was responding to this retard. You and BeeFense need to chill. You are going to strain something jumping to all these conclusions.

What kind of bullshite is that. Ill be fine with a bama loss every year as long as all the teams in the west have more conference losses than we do

You and many fans have been spoiled by previous success. Damn I'm glad this site didn't exist during dinardo and hallman
