But other than that, good luck to the kid in all ways but championships....

Aranda: "Smart Aggression"

I listened to his presser, but his answer to the characteristic of his style at the beginning was the thesis for the rest of his comments. Don't think I've ever been more excited about a hire of any kind in any sport I have ever followed....
or, just find out who they are recruiting for QB, and go after them....

Miles: A one man cabal

Alleva is a liar, and any reasonably perceptive/intelligent person knows as much. He is as weak as they come. He let the ESPN elite influence him. He was unable to stand up to King Alexander, who in no way was willing to take the wrath of the media criticism for "firing the winningest coach in LS...
good point. He did not leave, but leveraged significantly by these situations. He got a raise he did not earn, leveraging continuously off of the 2007 Tigers....
This is an opportunity to educate, pro-actively. We need to make it clear that the LSU Athletic Department has a net positive effect on the LSU academic institution. Make it clear that the TAF booster, independent of LSU the institution, are paying the 22 Million. Dear Lord, you guys almost seem ...
he's a father figure/players coach to the players but he's babying them- that's why the team is so undisciplined and draws so many penalties and flags
bingo...

re: Miles in the USC mix?

Might actually work. He needs a power program where recruiting is 99% of the game. USC is such program. Any other place for Miles, and he is going to fail miserably....
He is not a dumb man. He must have this next guy nailed. He has had a long time to anticipate this move. Years of time to be working this behind the scene. At first I was worried. The more i contemplate this, the more I think Alleva is going to be viewed as the savior when this all unfolds. Miles...

SVP likes Miles. Heck, as a person, who wouldn't. He's a very decent man. However, we don't want just a decent man who can recruit anymore, we want a decent man who can recruit and who can speak normally and who can coach greatly....

I went alone to the game, and could not get anywhere near the money I paid for the second ticket i...

Out of emotional gas

Posted by Football_Freak on 11/16/15 at 9:09 pm
Miles is exhausting. Its not about winning or losing, it is about how his teams "show up", or more recently "do not show up". Many wonder why the stadium empties early. I suspect most of these people live close by, or have plans to stay for post game tailgating. Most have long drives home. I'm one o...
I'm a Les fan. I generally support him when he's bashed on here. I think he's the most successful coach LSU has ever had. Obviously, Saban is overall a more successful coach but he didn't enjoy the same success at LSU. The point is, despite my respect and appreciation for the man, I've come t...

With the best Offensive line we have had in a while. With the best running back we have had in a while. Miles failed against Bama. For the 5th consecutive time. Miles is the only man on the planet that seems to fail to recognize that what works against most teams, will not work against Bama. ...
