Very sad news... I'm going to have to break it to my daughters this evening that we won't be able to visit him this coming Friday like we planned.

Couldn't get up to Baton Rouge on Saturday as I was working, got up there yesterday afternoon and brought the kids to say goodbye. We were too late as he was in the night house all day yesterday under "observation". Had a bad feeling about that, and this news this morning.
We were a day late.
It was very touching to see all the flowers, cards, etc.
Used the opportunity to teach the kids about cancer not having a cure, and about always making sure you tell people how you feel about them and show them you love them, as you never know when the time you see them will be the last time.

A sad day for Tiger Fans - Mike VI - We love you and pray for you to be pain free, we grieve for the loss of you and wished for you to be with us a long time. You will always be remembered for your Majestic beauty and playful personality and what might have been except for this awful disease cancer that we can't yet seem to conquer.
