Arkansas and the two SEC MS schools had very attainable OOS waivers when I was applying.
Is this info that can be found on their website? We're LSU through and through and #3 decides she'd like to look at Ole Miss. 2 Brothers are already giving her grief. $15K out of state fee...

re: Starting a buisness (farming) and curious where to start - tiger91
We've bought tractors ... leased combines which included any repairs at THEIR expense and it ended up being worth it. Think he bought a combine last year that is larger than previously and they can better keep up with harvest. Still have the combine from when we started in 1997 as a second/backup ...

re: Starting a buisness (farming) and curious where to start - tiger91
It doesn't take long to run through a million in farming. Our seed and fertilizer expenses alone this year were about half a million, and we're not close to the biggest operation in our area.
This. And yes, it's a line of credit. ...

re: Starting a buisness (farming) and curious where to start - tiger91
Yeah what type??? All I can say is we take out a million dollar loan every year ... Actually I think it's a line of credit that we draw from. I cook/clean/take care of the kids and husband takes care of the farming and business side that comes with it. ...

re: Questions about NYC - tiger91
Thanks everyone for the great suggestions. We did stop at the Jack Torres in Manhattan -- all I remember I THINK is that it was near Bloomingdales?? I know she flipped out over the cookie, the chocolate bar AND the sample of hot chocolate that they gave us (it was summer) was beyond rich and y...

re: Questions about NYC - tiger91
Oh yeah ... that's already a given and I should have said that. Show each night -- as we're wanting to see pretty much everything, we'll probably go to the TKTS booth and get tickets there. Saw Something Rotten and Aladdin last time we were there ... she wants to see Something Rotten again but I...

re: How many OTers had the pleasure of registering for classes at LSU with Reggie? - tiger91
How many had the pleasure of "pulling cards" at each department or was it the field house?? I had to do that before Reggie. I sat on the Assembly Center floor (extra/unwanted cards were returned there) for hours waiting for a speech 2060 card to be turned back in so I could snag it. I got the dam...

re: SO telling you what they want as gift - tiger91
Well, I'll say that one year my husband gave me a necklace that was something I'd NEVER pick out for myself. Think I wore it once. Now after 25 years of marriage, I either buy it myself (which he's good with) OR I pick a few things and he can choose what he'd like to get for me. Dating? we...
