The lack of media respect for LSU football and a perceived downhill slide seems to grow daily with various 2015 projections.

One of the latest is puzzling.

The website Saturday Down South projected the top five SEC running back tandems for 2015, and LSU's Leonard Fournette and Darell Williams are nowhere to be found.

1. Saturday Down South is a shittier version of Bleacher Report.
2. Who cares?

They literally listed one combo in which one of the two was a signee. Hasn't taken a snap but is part of an elite SEC tandem. Credibility destroyed at the point.

I always rate JUCO players who haven't taken a single Division I snap over proven commodities - SDS

Meh

The only people who know who Darrell Williams is are people that wear purple and gold.

You are definitely right about that. I read both go get my daily football fix, but they are both pretty terrible in their rankings and opinion pieces. This has nothing to do with acting like a homer as I find a lot of things pretty off on other teams' things as well.

LSU doesn't even qualify for the SDS list. LSU doesn't have a tandem; they have a quintet.

true. They know Fournette, but not the other RB's on the roster. They will quickly get to know Darrel Williams as well.

I'm not entirely sold on Williams just yet. I don't think he is bad, I just think he has a long way to go before he should be taking any significant carries from Fournette.
I'm personally more excited to see what Guice can do this season.

It's not that I don't like him, but I don't see a Fournette/Williams tandem. Williams shouldn't be anything more than a secondary option (maybe 5 carries a game), while Fournette should receive 20-25 carries.
I like Williams as a back to come in while Fournette catches his breath, but I don't think he should share carries with Leonard like some of the backfields we had in the past have done.
Williams isn't a change of pace or third down back in my mind yet.

And they stated that Jovon Robinson was a former Alabama signee. SDS really missed the mark with that list.
