re: Miles - An Ontological Journey - Phil2012
Quote The Buddha,"When the student is ready, the maestro appears!" I have had my critical moments vs. CLM, but I think that all the planets have finally aligned for him to get his mind right...after all, winning college football game is 98% recruiting...reflect on Shorty and U.M....great recruiters...

re: How do we feel about Divinity starting? - Phil2012
Divinity seems to have all the qualities that the coaches want for that position...smarts, physicality, and coverage when needed......

re: Teuhema question??? - Phil2012
The coaches are going to let their individual play "on the field" determine the line-up as the season progresses.......

re: Are we going to see more running from Harris this season? - Phil2012
Last year the staff felt like they really only had one option, and that Harris...they were not confident in any of their other options at QB...and BH was still too thin and fragile to take many hard hits...but this year appears to be somewhat different in the coaches' minds...now BH has bulked up so...

re: Teuhema question??? - Phil2012
Like I said weeks ago, we're going to see 7-8 OLmen play in this game if it goes as most fans hope for, an easy win...the coaches want the players to fight hard to keep in the line-up...keep a fire in thee belly...if Teuhema is well enough to play, he will...and maybe even Campbell will see the fiel...

re: Per Reports...Harris in shotgun with Guice and Fournette to his left and right - Phil2012
And don't forget the positive influence that Coach Craig has had on the offense...he has had his impact also......

re: Here are Multiple defensive fronts... - Phil2012
The real advantage of TV in any situation is that he demands at least 2 OLmen to control him...this then frees up a LB to blitz at will when he sees an opening...remember what Gilmore said...that TV is powerful enough to move the pile even when 2 OLmen are on him......

This is why so many schools are turning to the 3-4...recruiting advantages that go further than you've indicated...recruiting is the name of the game......

re: LSU not ranked by ESPN as one of 8 "Blue-Blood" CFB Programs - Phil2012
Calm down...nothing to see here...I'll admit that I'm concerned about the OL, but LSU is better than several of these pretenders that are rated higher...the deal is that most prognosticators are not going to pick LSU until they see BH prove he has arrived...personally, I think he will be OK...but I'...

re: O line pretty much set - Phil2012
I hope you are right about Malone, but a 300 lb. OT had better be damn good because in today's 3-4 defenses many DEs are at least that big...don't really remember a dominant 300 lb. OT lately...most are 315 or more...but I'm hoping for the best...Go Tigers!...
