re: Excited about Clyde Edwards-Helaire - boxcar willie
He's like Darren Sproles. We will probably use him the like the Saints did with Sproles. We still need one or two regular RB's in this class, hopefully Etienne or Akers or both. ...

re: Les Miles is the Best Recruiter in CFB - boxcar willie
He recruits comparable classes in spite of not winning a championship every other year and without putting an offense on the field that includes the forward pass.
he doesn't recruit comparable classes but it still is great what he is able to haul in, expecially on offense, consider...

re: Les Miles is the Best Recruiter in CFB - boxcar willie
Saben is by far the best recruiter, probably of all time. And it's not even close. He has run off about 8 straight consensus #1 classes, which are #1 by a lot. He picks what players he wants, while everyone else fights for the leftovers. But yes Miles is still a great recruiter. ...

re: How is Trump going to fix the economy by massively cutting taxes on the rich? - boxcar willie
The rich already pay less than 20%. He's going to be no different than Obama spending wise yet have less revenue to work with thus hurting the economy and preventing economic growth. What a disaster.
+ I thought he wasn't on board with the trickle down fraud of the ultra right and t...

re: Aaron Moffitt commits to LSU! - boxcar willie
let's start asking all recruits for their parents combined income and then just tell them they can walk on instead if they make too much.
Right. If you could get away with that, Saben and Bama would already have half there recruiting classes parents suddenly able to afford to and...

re: Aaron Moffitt commits to LSU! - boxcar willie
Wouldn't surprise me if he is a consensus 4 star on the recruiting sites before the end of next season. Now that he has committed to a school like LSU, the sites should take notice, start watching him closer and re-evaluate him. LIke some one said, he looked like the best player on the field in the ...

re: Bizarro World: GOP nominating a 47%'er - boxcar willie
I for one applaud anyone who can get away with paying as little tax as possible and milking the system for any and all hand outs they can. Such cases only expose the current tax code for the absurd
I don't get why the focus is almost always on those that know how to work the botto...

re: Bizarro World: GOP nominating a 47%'er - boxcar willie
it just shows why the tax code needs to be overhauled. Who is in a better position to know that than someone like Trump? It's not that other politicains, both dem and rep. don't know these things, it's just that they just don't care, otherwise the tax code and all the other free handouts both to...

re: Colin Cowherd says Mayweather vs McGregor will happen - boxcar willie
I disagree with you here because you also have to account for a fighters reaction speed, chin, power, and athleticism which in a lot of cases can't be taught. Plus boxing is not completely foreign to MMA fighters because a lot of fighters do normal boxing training or started off training in b...

re: Colin Cowherd says Mayweather vs McGregor will happen - boxcar willie
I dont think it is likely that he wins but he definitely has a shot if he can connect with floyd.
He has no shot and he won't connect with Mayweather. It's a average boxer going up against one of the best boxers ever in a boxing match. Not enough size difference for that to be a f...

re: Preakness weekend thread - boxcar willie
I want to put $20 down on a horse to win just to make viewing more interesting. Who would you bet on between Cherry Wine (17-1) or Collected (16-1)? Is Stradavari (8-1) really that much better of a horse and have a legitimate shot while those other two have no shot?...

re: Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather - boxcar willie
Probably. I bet there's verbiage in the standard UFC contract that bars competing in other combat sports.
but with the amount of money the fight would bring in maybe the UFC would be interested as long as they got their share of the take. If Mayweathers ego is big enough to fight M...

re: Why are Black residents leaving Northern Progressive Cities ? - boxcar willie
Why are Black residents leaving Northern Progressive Cities ? by Lsupimp
a lot of it has to do with 'gentrification' of these cities. As young upwardly mobile and other wealthy people move back into the inner city they tend to push out the poorer working class and other folks. Risi...

re: Skip Bayless doesn't seem impressed with Simmons - boxcar willie
He is right for once.....simmons will be a bust
I got that vibe also. Just don't see a lot of teams looking for a soft 6'10" 'point forward' that can't shoot the ball, in the NBA. He can make some good passes at times, but that is more the role of your 'point guard.' He needs t...

re: UFC FN 88 - boxcar willie
I'm going with Cejudo to pull the monster upset
The way Johnson dominated that fight the first time they fought, I don't see Cejudo having any better shot this time around. Surprised they gave him such a quick rematch but with the way Johnson has cleaned out the division guess the...
