Nor stopping clock late in 4th was pretty bad

The biggest official screwup all night went against us on the first punt. And that wasn't even a judgement call, they just completely botched the mechanics of marking the spot and had to guess.

That was an odd one.

That one was actually close but I still think it was a bad call. Maybe to make up for the missed DPI calls.

Did anyone see Dural get tackled by the DB in the EZ on the 3rd down? It was the one that put us at 13 I believe. It was AJ's primary read and why he had to scramble.

LF was tackled while the ball was in the air on a screen pass in the 1st half. I was on the sideline right by it and it was blatant but no call.

The replay showed the ball already over his head before the tackle. It looked worse in real time than it was.

At what point in the game was this one?

The clock doesn't stop until the game goes until 2:00 minutes in the 4th quarter. If a player goes out of bounds, they stop the clock until the ball is set and the clocks starts again unless it is under 2:00 minutes. It seemed like the announcers were confused about the too.

It was a good no call.

The ball was almost on the ground about 5-7 yards from LF before any contact happened.

It was under 2 minutes. The ruling, I think, was that the LSU player stopped the runner's forward progress before he went out of bounds. In that case, the clock doesn't stop.

Oh ok...I was too busy booing to see the replay on the big screen if they even showed one at all lol

That'll happen when you are getting held from behind.

Yeah, tackling White while trying to make a play out in the flat and their o-line hugging er'body, but LSU was holding.

Probably this...

Also if the play started/snapped before the 2:00 mark even though the clock goes under 2 minutes the clock will still run. It's the first play under two minutes that the ball is snapped that the clock stops when a player goes out of bounds...

I was shocked at how different the replay angle looked from the real-time play. It shows just how poor your perception can be.

Didn't they get a first down on that drive?
