re: Great Perspective from Paul Flannery - LSU_Richoux
I'd bring in one of the trio of know upstart assistants either Dufrene, Jones or Folse
I see what you did there BOOM hahaha Folse got caught watching the paint dry......

re: Great Perspective from Paul Flannery - LSU_Richoux
That was a move made by the previous Shinn/Bower regime, and it actually was a good move as it freed up cap space and drafted Pondexter who has done way more than Aldrich ever did.
I won't argue the Aldrich Pondexter point that is quite obvious but if you truly coveted a PG analyz...

re: Great Perspective from Paul Flannery - LSU_Richoux
No he isn't, that is his cap hold, he isn't under contract for next year.
sorry my bad, i must have read that wrong that's for the clarification
We traded for him because we get his Bird Rights meaning we can ignore the salary cap to resign him. If we didn't we'd be st...

re: Great Perspective from Paul Flannery - LSU_Richoux
Tyreke killed the offensive flow in the 4th when he came back in for Jrue, and Gordon was cold all game. Within 2 plays of Jrue going out I wanted him back in. To me that is where the game was lost. Sure there are plenty of problems to point out, but we've seen it all year, when we need smart...

re: 19 missed free throws... - LSU_Richoux
I'm not coming here to ask for Jones to get a raise, or lobby that he's an elite coach. But my God, at some point we have to acknowledge the apathy and basketball iq of the team.
I couldn't agree more. This team's basketball IQ is one of the poorest in the SEC. Including the deb...

re: The team did everything right except for one thing. - LSU_Richoux
Kentucky shot that same FT% as LSU tonight so if you think FT shooting was the reason LSU lost this game, I will respectfully disagree. LSU lost games this season due to FT shooting but this was NOT one of them. Kentucky missed FTs down the stretch just like LSU. The only reason LSU had a chance to ...

re: Free Throws - LSU_Richoux
There are two thing is basketball that is the biggest equalizer - turnovers and free throw shooting. LSU is actually in the top half of the SEC in free throwing shooting 72% but in the three SEC games that they lost they shot below 60% in each. BUT what is greater concern is the way they shot FTs do...

re: jalyn patterson beast - LSU_Richoux
It's really uncanny to see the poise he displays as a true freshman. The stats you just pointed out should be a great reason he continues to see MORE playing time eating away at Gray's minutes. On the contrary, Gray has continued to NOT show poise that we need at the PG position for this team to mak...

re: LSU Held All Night and the Refs Maybe Paid Off-Maybe - LSU_Richoux
The ruling, I think, was that the LSU player stopped the runner's forward progress before he went out of bounds. In that case, the clock doesn't stop.
Probably this... Also if the play started/snapped before the 2:00 mark even though the clock goes under 2 minutes the clock will...

re: LSU Held All Night and the Refs Maybe Paid Off-Maybe - LSU_Richoux
Nor stopping clock late in 4th was pretty bad
At what point in the game was this one? The clock doesn't stop until the game goes until 2:00 minutes in the 4th quarter. If a player goes out of bounds, they stop the clock until the ball is set and the clocks starts again unless ...

re: Johnny Jones pisses me off - LSU_Richoux
Two Final Fours, four elite 8's, four regular season SEC Championships and an SEC tourney championship really sucks. What a loser.
AND don't forget the pioneer of the FREAK defense!! I think most LSU fans would take half of those accomplishments in the next 5-10 years!...

re: Running with the ball. - LSU_Richoux
Didn't they change that rule in the NBA pretty much allowing players to have 2 and a half steps now with the step you take while picking up the dribble?
Think you right on this one but I hate the rule. I already think the offensive player has so many advantages already and the NBA...

re: Running with the ball. - LSU_Richoux
No question jg.... We all have the privilege of TiVo and slow mos but this all happens bang bang super fast paced. In real time I thought it was travel. I thought the fact that he was out of control and threw up a prayer just reinforced that a call should have been made. I might have a different opi...

re: Running with the ball. - LSU_Richoux
I guess with all the complaining about the lack of a walking call, the fact remains that our 80+% FT shooter makes 1 of 2 and their 60% FT shooter makes 2 of 2 with the game on the line... LSU had every opportunity to win even with the questionable officiating. I'm still speechless on the Charles Ba...

re: Running with the ball. - LSU_Richoux
The fact that he was out of control splitting a double team took steps (he picked up his dribble then took that first step plus two more) AND it looked like he actually came down with his right foot after the 3rd before releasing a prayer!!! Obvious travel 3 steps maybe even the 4th plus he was out ...

Aaron Rodgers - Five Finger Discount Check - LSU_Richoux
I know the talented people of this board can probably do more with this idea, but this is what I came up with for Aaron Rodger's new State Farm commercial... ...

Can You Block The Base On A Walk? - LSU_Richoux
On the walk where Snikeris was tagged, can you block the base and force a runner to go around? Just curious if there is any rule where you can't impede the runner on a walk cause he definitely block the base......

re: Official PDF File of Saints Findings re: Bounty Program - LSU_Richoux
Also, does anybody know how many opposing team players were ever carted off the field or never returned to a game during the 2009-2011 seasons because of a hit? I don't recall any. Pretty effective bounty program don't you say?...
