We can't have a convo without YOU bringing up the winning % of Miles and that all that matters... He has done well at LSU... BUT with the talent on offense he had last year it was a failure... And this year was a joke... FOR A BIG TIME PROGRAM that LSU wants to be..............

Yeah, 10-3, 8-5, 13-1 with national rankings of #7 and #1 are better than 11-2, 11-2, and 12-2 with national ranking of #5, #3, and #1.

Where did you go to college? ULL?

I hope he gets a raise mainly because I didn't realize we had so many liberals in this fanbase who care how much others make.

What? I only bring up Miles' win % when we are talking about Miles' success at lsu.

2010 Saban had the entire 2011 defense and offense, senior, national champ qb ( mcelroy), 1st rd wr (Julio), 1st rd de ( marcel dareus,1st rd and Heisman winning rb (ingram) and Bama lost 3 games.
Lsu finishing in the top 15 , out of 126 teams, is not a failure.

We have a chance at 9 wins and finishing in the top 20 and youre calling it a joke. Let that sink in. Miles has built such a great program that in our down years, we finish in the top 20.

I don't care how much he makes as long as he coaches the Talent we have into a championship contender every year...........

Its sad that lsu "fans" are trying to diminish the achievements of the lsu program, just to make a coach look bad.its pathetic.

We won the SEC Championship and Sugar Bowl in 2001.
We won the SEC Championship and National Championship in 2003.

I'm not sure why you think that is so funny. When have we accomplished more in a 3 year span?

Interesting since I'm considered a Miles guy on here.

No im not. You said lsu shouldve done better given the talent on last year's lsu team. I replied that the 2010 Bama team was one of the most talented team ever and far more talented than 2013 lsu, and THEY LOST 3 GAME.

Alleva used the last raise as an excuse to increase fees so why wouldn't it again?

Why do you care what someone else makes?

We don't how much money he makes. We just don't want to be so bought up into one coach that his buy out is too enormous and even if he declines has to remain here.

Miles is paid well enough. He should not be seeking any type of raise, as he already just recently received one.

I'm a Les Miles supporter, but if LSU continues dropping 4 games a season, I don't mind seeing a new direction. His hard headedness with the QB situation is the biggest factor for my displeasure of recent.

People assume LSU would be so bad off without Miles and try to bring up Tenn, and Florida.. Those states are still not Louisiana. I believe LSU could maintain this current pace of losing 3 to 4 games a season in a different direction and actually put a better offensive product on the field.

They can not pick your letter all they want. The sentiment and thought process are right on. We should not chase Les with more money. He gets paid well in comparison to top tier program coaches.

Any savings on Miles' offencive contract should be spent on finding a new veterinarian for mike.

Are you really going to tell me that you cant see that being ranked nationally at #5, #3, #1 in a three year period tops being ranked at #7 and #1 in a three year period?

2005-2007 is the most nationally relevant three year period in LSU football history. You have to be off your rocker to not agree.

Mark Dantonio makes 5.6 mil. How many NCGs has his teams played in?

Kevin Sumlin makes 5 mil. How many NCGs has he played in?

Charlie Strong makes 5 mil. How many NCGs has his teams played in?

James Franklin makes 4.3 mil. How many NCGs has his teams played in?

Kirk Ferentz makes 4.1 mil. How many NCGs has his teams played in?

Gary Patterson makes 4 mil. How many NCGs has his teams played in?

The above are 6 of the top 9 paid coaches today.

A case can easily be make that in comparison to most of the highest paid coaches today for the results they have achieved, Miles is under paid.

I don't think that at 61 Miles goes to Michigan and LSU pays him well enough, but I also don't see LSU allowing Michigan to take Miles without LSU upping his contract if needed.
