How could you not care if he gets a raise?
Because I don't employ him. And if I was stupid enough to pay substantially to TAF every year, I still would have no say in what he makes. What Les makes is none of my business and none of Joe TAF Member's business, and if you're a TAF member and don't realize this, then the joke's on you.

So are really a Tiger supporter huh?
Without the TAF payers you idiot there would be no coaches raises or facilities improvements; anyone doesn't believe this is a total idiot!

I've struck a nerve, it seems. I guess some people don't like when I point out that when you pay money to TAF you get not a say in how much the coach makes, but rather a club that takes your money and let's you pretend that you're important.

If I were you, I'd pay more.

Well I don't disagree with that but are you saying that everyone of us that are the real true fans and put our hard earned $ into TAF should stop and just let the state pay for everything? Your right, I can't afford it next season so will drop this year and get free tickets outside like all else!

No raise if warranted

You can say that as much as you want, but if Mich. makes a run at Miles LSU will, without question, attempt to keep him. You can think it's not deserved or warranted all you want, but not to do so in todays college football coaching landscape would be both naïve and dumb.

As to working the system, Nick and Sumlin worked it last yr. Jones has already worked it this yr. More than likely, Mullen will work it soon. Maybe Freeze too.

Look at what has gone on with the Neb. and Flor. hires. I mean, those two guys might turned out to be great, but they haven't done shite in big time college football and the Flor. guy is gonna get 800,000 less than Miles who has proven twice he can take his team to NCG???

Like Alleva or not, but he would be pretty freaking college football coach mentally challenged to lose a coach with the Miles results history with never offering some kinda bump to Miles.

TAf doesn't give more than the tv rights, bowl alliances and the split of sec teams.

I hope he is, since you obviously aren't paying enough. I bet if you paid a little more, we'd beat those guys two states over.

I feel for you, man. You went to LSU, graduated, and donated all this hard-earned money to TAF, and where are the results? You sure are getting jacked.
