Prescott really looked good last week. Mullins will throw the ball

Spread is less than a TD.

Vegas says there's a chance

Right after LSU beat Miss State, I posted on here that Miss State could and would beat Alabama in Starkville.

Nobody agreed with me. I defer to the greater wisdom of this august board and conclude that Miss State has NOT A CHANCE to beat Alabama.

Ooops. Wait a minute. A quick review of this thread reveals that just about EVERY LSU fan now agrees with my original prediction! Wow! Such a turn of events! I wonder why?

Who cares. We lost when we could have decided our own path. If we get in fine but if we don't it's our fault.

if Mullen and Dak can come up with a gameplan and execution to keep the Alabama defense from keeping 8 guys in the box...more than an even chance

Prescott is a far superior QB to that shite-faced Coker.

I expect them to light up the secondary of BAMA and run away from their hogs -- which LSU just couldn't figure out.

Ring them cowbells and say, "Geaux Bulldogs!" I would love it if Dak and his receivers have a field day through the air. BamaSaban can be had that way. Just for the hell of it I want the Tide to go down.

They're a good team. They're 7-2 but could easily have been 8-1 with a win over us. Another 20 seconds on the clock and they beat us with a field goal.

Comments like this prove to me that there are people out there that would be fine with finishing 2-8 as long as LSU beats BAMA.

Dak is great. Mullen is creative

that's what they have going for them and those are Bamas two weaknesses. A QB that can run is always a wild card. And a coach that can be creative with the offense seems to give Bama trouble at times. At least you know they won't line up and play to Bamas strengths.

Also remember sadly they just lost one of their teammates in a car accident. I'm sure they'll be fired up to get on the field and honor their fallen friend.

10%

State is at home which helps and Dak needs to play out of his skull.

They have less of chance than we did. Well, should anyway...

Hopefully the players overlook them and the cowbells are out of control!

they have a puncher's chance. it's not as if it's impossible for them to win.

bama has to play state, auburn and florida. they could easily lose one of those games, and if florida loses to fsu and beats bama then we are probably playoff bound in that scenario IF we win out.

Agreed. I think we would still need some help in other places, especially from Michigan - which would be a nice little side story for the media babble about.

it's really possible for utah to lose one more game and sc to run the table and win the pac12.

if stanford can beat nd along with losing the pac12 championship that opens the door.

hopefully auburn or state can beat bama so we wouldn't have to worry about any of that.

I think the home atmosphere is a huge advantage as well. Davis Wade really is an electric stadium, whether you want to admit it or not.

7 pt spread at home means +11 on neutral field since they are getting a four point bump for being at home. Forgetting Vegas for a moment, I say about 25% to 30% chance.
