His show hasnt been a cbs radio show in a year, it was just on satellite radio. Plus he still works for Fox Sports 1

"Very popular among fans"? Not really, or at least going by the numerous threads in the past about him; he's been knocked more than he's been praised. The only thing he has going for him in my book is the bama fans hate him with a passion. But as humble & laid back as Hawthorne is, Brando is at the opposite end of the spectrum. He plays the "don't you know who I am" card too often when trying to get this or that perk.

He addressed this on the Tim Fletcher show probably a month ago or more. He said something along the lines of, It is a great position and he would be honored but it's not for him at this stage of his career. Earlier in his career, he would have would have loved an opportunity like that.
