Why don't Miles Bashers believe their own eyes and ears?

I understand that people wondered why Harris didn't play more in 2014. I understand that people wanted an answer. I understand that people doubted the answers as to why Harris didn't play. I understand that people want proof.

However, there is ample proof about why Harris did not play more. Some people just refuse to accept it.

Here's a typical conversation with a typical Miles Basher:
quote:

If Harris didn't play because of an injury, show me proof that he suffered an injury.

PROOF: Brandon Harris suffered an ankle injury during the Auburn game.

quote:

That's just a picture of an injury, show me proof that the injury was bad enough that it needed to be treated.

PROOF: Brandon Harris had his ankles taped during the second half of the Auburn game.

quote:

So his ankles are taped, maybe his ankles were taped at the start of the Auburn game. Show me proof that his ankles weren't taped at the start of the Auburn game!

PROOF: Brandon Harris did not have his ankles taped at the start of the Auburn game.

quote:

Okay, so his ankles were taped during the Auburn game. SO WHAT? He played in the Kentucky game too!! Show me proof that his ankles were taped during the Kentucky game!

PROOF: Brandon Harris had his ankles taped during the Kentucky game.

quote:

Did you ever think that maybe they started taping all of the QB's ankles just to be safe?!?! SHOW ME PROOF THAT THEY DIDN'T TAPE JENNINGS' ANKLE FOR THE KENTUCKY GAME!!!

PROOF: Anthony Jennings did not have his ankles taped during the Kentucky game.

quote:

Uhhhhhh . . . show me proof that Harris's ankles were taped AT THE SAME TIME that Jennings' ankles were not taped!!

PROOF: Harris's ankles were taped, but Jennings' ankles were not taped.

quote:

If Harris was injured, WHY DID HE PLAY IN THE ALABAMA GAME?!?! HUH?!?! WHY?!?! I want proof that Harris had to play in the Alabama game instead of Jennings!!!

PROOF: Jennings got seriously hurt on the play before Harris came in.

quote:

If Harris was hurt, WHY DIDN'T LSU EVER SAY HARRIS WAS HURT?!?!
PROOF: LSU confirms injury.
quote:

LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette confirmed the injury Wednesday.

quote:

THAT'S JUST BONNETTE! HE'S A MILES PUPPET. I DON'T BELIEVE A THING THAT GRASS-EATER OR HIS MINIONS SAY. SHOW ME PROOF THAT HARRIS ADMITTED HIS INJURY HELD HIM BACK!!!
PROOF: Harris admits he was hurt for the rest of the season:
quote:

People don’t realize I dealt with a high ankle sprain that lingered throughout the season.

quote:

frick THAT ARTICLE!! THAT'S frickING GLENN GUILBEAU!! I DON'T LIKE HIM TODAY!! I WANT TO HEAR IT STRAIGHT FROM HARRIS'S MOUTH!!!!

PROOF: Harris says that high ankle sprain held him back from more playing time during 2014.

quote:

frick YOU!! OF COURSE HARRIS SAID THAT AFTER THE SEASON!!!! MILES FORCED HIM TO SAY IT!!!! WHY DIDN'T HARRIS SAY ANYTHING DURING THE SEASON!!!
PROOF: Harris talks about his injury immediately following the Auburn game:
quote:

After the game he limped to the locker room following a brief meeting with Auburn coach Gus Malzahn, who unsuccessfully tried to recruit Harris out of Bossier City’s Parkway High last fall.

LSU coach Les Miles said Harris, who was wearing a walking boot when he met with reporters, sprained his right ankle. Harris said he suffered a bruise on a 32-yard run on the second-to-last play of the first half and will have treatment Sunday morning.

quote:

BUT LOOK a-hole, HARRIS'S ANKLES WERE NOT TAPED FOR THE ALABAMA GAME!!!!

quote:

I'm right! I'm RIGHT!! I'M RIGHT!!!!!

I don't care about the pictures from the Auburn game!

I don't care about the pictures from the Kentucky game!

I don't care about the video from the Alabama game!

I don't care about Michael Bonnette's confirmation!

I don't care what Harris said about his own ankle after the season!

I don't care what Harris said about his own ankle after the Auburn game!

I don't care if Harris admitted: "I’m the only thing that is holding myself back. I held myself back this past season, and now I realize that.... I was my biggest thing that was holding me back this past season.... I wasn’t good enough last year — plain and simple."

I don't care if Harris admitted: "Last year, I would be the first one to tell you I didn’t know the ins and outs of things I needed to know.... I’m not having anybody like the right tackle (Jerald Hawkins in the Auburn game) tell me I’ve called the wrong play or this and that."

I don't care about any facts, or articles, or pictures, or videos!!!

I hate Miles! I HATE MILES!! I HATE LES MILES!!!

My bigger problem is that he stuck Jennings under center and tried to make a drop back passer out of him (and he clearly is not a drop back passer). It wasn't until the A&M game that he actually utilized Jennings in a way that allowed him to be successful.

This is almost as bad as that guy who charted and described every one of Lee's passes when we played Oregon.

This'll go over like a turd in a punch bowl on this LSU "fan" site, but this is good stuff right here...

This issue gets discussed all of the time. My post in the other thread might be hard to find later. This discussion deserved it's own thread, and now it will be easier to find.

BTW: Should I congratulate you on becoming a "positiger again"?

I tried my best to capture the essence of a Miles Basher melt.

I'm not displeased with the results.

What about the eyes and ears that have witnessed year after year of squandered potential, horrendous game planning, inept offenses, crunch time coaching blunders and so on and so forth?

everyone knows Harris hurt his ankle. That's not really the issue.

The issue is whether Harris' ankle had healed sufficiently for him to play later in the season. Not worried about it healing 100%, but if Harris' ankle was healed "enough" for him to play effectively (whether it's 70, 80, or 90% healed), then he should've gotten another shot.

This is an LSU board. It has NOTHING to do with Ole Miss. Why are you bringing Ole Miss into this discussion?

Harris' problems last season were more than an injured ankle...

Putting their QB in a position where he may be more comfortable makes way too much sense for LSU to do it. Just like continuously slamming LF into 9 man fronts. Also, who would have thought that if spread things out a bit and create running lanes for your all world RB that he may have an easier time finding space to run? (see A&M and ND games, which were coincidentally LF's two best rushing games)

It's absolutely embarrassing that LSU generally has such a mediocre offense when they usually have so many great players on that side of the ball. Hopefully they tailor their approach to and playcalling to the strong suits of Brandon Harris this year. If not, it will be the same ole story.

You had me until you included Guilbeau as proof of anything. Unfortunately, because of that oversight, gg;dr.
