This is an LSU board. It has NOTHING to do with Ole Miss. Why are you bringing Ole Miss into this discussion?
I wasn't, but a certain Ole Miss game played into the crunch time coaching blunders portion of my diatribe.

The issue is whether Harris' ankle had healed sufficiently for him to play later in the season. Not worried about it healing 100%, but if Harris' ankle was healed "enough" for him to play effectively (whether it's 70, 80, or 90% healed), then he should've gotten another shot
you've gotta be shittin' me!!!

I dont understand all of the people that have ignored this, or thought it was fake.
Nothing surprises me any more. The LSU staff revealed the injury. The LSU player revealed the injury and noted it limited him all yr. There have been photos of the injury. There have been news write ups bout the injury.
And still some claim to be "frustrated" cause LSU didn't play a player with an injury more.
Thing is, if LSU had and that playing made his injury worse, people would be on here blasting the staff for playing of a player with an injury.
That 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful thing for us fans. It's what makes all of us such great coaching material.

Also, who would have thought that if spread things out a bit and create running lanes for your all world RB that he may have an easier time finding space to run? (see A&M and ND games, which were coincidentally LF's two best rushing games)
I would point out at this time that Fournette's 22 yard touchdown against A&M and has 82 yard touchdown against Our Lady were both out of the I formation, the latter on the pitch dive.

BTW: Should I congratulate you on becoming a "positiger again"?
Yes, but just do it here, mate. I'm not looking for an entire post or anything dedicated to it

No problem. Of course.
Why would you think anything else?

Didn't his big runs come out of power sets in those games?
I know his 89 yard run came out of a 2 WR set on a toss lead
So did his 3 big runs vs A&M
LINK
So he was actually most successful out of the I in those games

You're on the same board in the middle of a work day.
Sure you want your time audited?

You are right about Anthony Jennings not being a good QB under Center, but that is all. AJ was utilized by our coaches in a way to beat Ole miss and Florida. Arkansas the year before. Also, LSU has and will always be a I-formation team first and shotgun/pistol offense 2nd.
You talk about the A&M game but conveniently forget about the prior games that Anthony Jennings won! Florida/Ole miss. Nobody gives any credit where it is due. Anthony Jennings won that Florida game for us. 3rd and 23 in the 4th quarter. AJ completes a pass to Dural for nearly 30 yards. Later, on that drive throws a fade on 3rd down to Dural to score a TD late in the game @ Gainesville, Florida.
Let's just face it. Last year we were too young and re-tooling. We were due for a down year, 8-5.
Brandon Harris was not ready and any logical fan that saw his performance in the 1st half vs Auburn @ home knows that. Last year, if Harris remained healthy he would not have played over AJ simply because he was not ready. Vadal Alexander and Brandon Harris both acknowledge that Harris did not know the ins, the outs, and even called/ran the wrong plays straight out the huddle.
LSU and Les Miles will always play the player that gives us the best opportunity for victory.

This is almost as bad as that guy who charted and described every one of Lee's passes when we played Oregon.
You can always tell the guys that never believed what went down last year.

Jesus christ. There are MFers STILL arguing about it.

Great post. I love that people demand proof, so when someone goes to the trouble to actually assemble the proof, the response is to mock the person for taking the time to create an argument and back it up with facts. Also, the OP was pretty funny.

Everyone should be happy now. The 'positigers' and the 'negatigers' can hold hands and sing "We Are the World".
