She did work her arse off, but, 3 for 20 in the last two games, many wide open shots???. Not good enough. And CKM did not plan on the injury to Smith and Poole getting fired. 20 points a game at Louisville and maybe against inferior competition. She pressed she missed. I think she gave 110% but didn't deliver. This trainee is wrong. Maybe not the plan but she definitely had a chance to shine. I wish her nothing but success.

Quickness and speed; you either have it or you don’t.

Her biggest weakness was she couldn’t defend. That won’t change wherever she goes.

HVL purposely came to LSU knowing they needed a PG and wanted to take on that role so I dont understand why people are making HVL to be a victim, she knew what she was getting into and what the team needed when she came here

With that said despite playing out of position, her offense overall was a massive disappointment. She simply missed way too many wide open shots in general, both while playing the PG spot and off the ball. She shot like 37% this year on much fewer shots.

I agree-

I suspect her dad and trainer feel Hvl is wnba worthy….

Playing at lsu pointed out she was not ready for the physical play and speed of the sec

The trainer can say anything- but the tapes don’t lie- she will never be in the wnba

I’m tired of all the drama and hype. WBB is Disney World.

Says she is very lethal in her turnarounds, midrange and an amazing 3 pt shot and they focused on extending that range and more off-the-bounce 3s

What a clown. Talking about shots they practiced were different than the ones she took. That girl missed WIDE OPEN SHOTS.

She was recruited to be the point guard and facilitator for the team, and he discusses that in his description...so, what role did he train her for if it was the wrong role??

In the NCAAT Hailey shot:

6-30 from the field through 4 games (20%) on mostly wide open shots

That video is all that’s wrong with today’s kids. If this “trainer” is helping HVL with her basketball skills, great. However, it seems like he’s some sort of manipulator for his own benefit.

HVL played for a team at LSU whose incentive was to win, not to be a personal showcase for her.

Everyone in her camp thinks this. It’s why it was hilarious that people thought she would come back to come off the bench. People around her think she’s a #1 option

ESPN profile of PG Kaitlyn Chen, the top-rated uncommitted player in the portal. The Advocate linked her to LSU which probably means we have no shot at her. At 5-9, she’s got a bit of height to her.

I did not know the Ivys bar graduate students from athletics so no surprise she is transferring to play her fifth year.

UConn and Geno are also very interested in her. I hope we can grab Chen or Michigan State’s Hagemann. We are in deep shite as far as returning to the Final Four if our only PG options are Poa, Velez, and the freshman Richard.

As I've said before, whenever someone starts a sentence and then the second phrase contains a "but" , you know the first part of the sentence is a lie.

Well, that’s a foolish statement. Let’s try an example.

NotaStarGazer is a smart guy, but sometimes he makes dumb posts.

So “NotaStarGazer is a smart guy” is a lie?

Yeah, it is. Especially if they are going to burn bridges now.

Exactly. She was probably given a longer leash than most other players strictly based on how well she played at Louisville. The problem was she didn’t live up to the expectation. I think the athleticism of the SEC caught her off guard. Regardless of the reason why, HVL is responsible for her skill set and how she played. She was given an opportunity to play the off guard position and still didn’t thrive.
The trainer is trying to salvage the narrative but only HVL can change it based off of her performance at her next spot.

Can’t blame a national championship coaching staff for the short comings of one player.
