re: NCAA about to change transfer rules

I agree that the NCAA is going to take the path of least resistance and allow unlimited transfers, with immediate eligibility. They know they're going to lose the lawsuit. Courts don't like to restrict movement, especially when it is tied to college students deciding where they wish to pursue an edu...

re: Damonic Williams DT enters Portal

Lester, what was your assessment of him after watching him play? Is he a take, or should LSU pass? We definitely need interior guys on defense....
I agree with your assessment of our running back rotation. It doesn't seem to have any rhyme or reason. Like most everything in college football now, I imagine it's oftentimes affected by NIL and the portal - pay up and give them more carries or they transfer. Find a couple who are producing and ...
I wasn't aware the Globetrotters had women on the roster. In fact, I didn't even know the team was still around. With tickets starting at $35, I doubt there will be a big crowd to see players not named Meadowlark Lemon or Curley Neal....

re: I’ll have a big problem with Jay

If Johnson was going to make a change at shortstop, it likely would have come against UNO. I can't see him putting in a new shortstop for an SEC road series they desperately need to win....
In a short, one-page thread, why repeat exactly what the previous poster said an hour earlier? It happens all the time on this board....

Both terms (Allstaff, Wholestaff) are lame....

re: I’ve been defending Jay all season

I mostly agree, but it's hard for Millazo to provide leadership when he's riding the pine instead of catching. He should be catching every game, but I suspect Johnson guaranteed Travinski the chance to catch, and he's trying to keep Neal from transferring....
Footbal, without question....
I agree that LSU would likely do everything possible to get both players on campus, but it isn't possible for LSU to match MLB first round money. They can make a good offer and, like I said, maybe the college experience will appeal to them. But if the decision comes down to strictly money, LSU can't...

Mississippi State and Ole Miss crashed and burned the year after they won the CWS. The same is happening to LSU. The explanation isn't difficult; veteran, talented teams win championships. Young teams don't. State has recovered somewhat. Ole Miss hasn't. This team has a few young players with pro...
It should be legal to have a BBQ pit actually IN the outfield. Or in the dugout....
That's true, TigerMac. I do hope and think he will turn things around, but his Arizona CWS Finals appearance was with the former coach's recruits, much like last year's LSU championship team. He struck gold with Skenes and White in the portal, but the majority of the team was on campus when Jay a...
I just can't believe LSU will match the money he could get as a first round MLB selection. Maybe they can make him a nice offer, and perhaps he decides he wants the college experience, but LSU can't match MLB for money....

re: Another different lead off hitter.

At this point, it's just desperation. He can just draw names from a hat for the lineup, and it makes no difference....

re: DK Moore predicted to flip?!?

I do believe LSU will recruit some very good receivers, just based on history and the high-end recruits that are showing interest in the Tigers. But this staff still has to prove it on the recruiting trail and on the field. Thus far, none of the receivers they have recruited are making waves in p...

Heck, I didn't even know who Travis Scott was until a few weeks ago, when they made a big deal about him playing golf with Nick Saban. ...
