Haven't been married as long, but this is exactly my set up.

It was already mentioned but watch espn app. Personally I'd just tell her to have a great time but no way I'm going.

You need to help her understand your plans were made when the schedule came out. This will help you with future conflicts.

Your wife is so fricking stupid and you are a beta husband who does what he's told.

Sad situation
Tad embarrassing.

You should find another woman who respects you.

It's not to late to turn the tide; this should be the one & only time you face this delima, depending upon your action.

FWIW - took the big step three times & before the big day, each heard, but did not understand, that during Tiger season, check the schedule before committing me to anything. Well of course, each tested the waters & each never did it again. Missed a nephew's b-day, a cousin's wedding & an extended family dinner.

Sounds like a thread for the O-T, but had to offer a little history. Hope you make the right decision.

From the beginning they should have been aware that it is in your dna (or perhaps not since you are in this situation). My in-laws (they live in SC) would make sure we are somewhere with tvs so "we" as a family can eat, drink and watch the game. Hell, my father-in-law is a big Gamecock fan but owns way more purple/gold!

Shouldn't even be a topic of convo. You making this thread and asking what to do tells me all I need to know. You have cocked up this relationship from the start, no way of going back now and salvaging it, just do what you have always done and tuck your dick in and go. DVR it and watch later....that will be her argument anyway. Unless she's a 10 that sucks my dick on every day that ends in Y, you made a bad decision to marry her. Pack her tampons in your man purse and bring her to dinner.

As a Law Enforcement Officer, this is what you do:

Get an idea of the roads / highways that they will be traveling. Since you already have a description of the vehicle and what they look like, call LEO and make an anonymous report regarding drug traffickers. Whenever they ask for details, inform them that they conceal their "goods" in their bodies (if you know what I am speaking of).

Note: Be certain to utilize a public telephone or a throw-away cell.

Also, whenever they call to be bailed, do not answer the telephone.

Good luck....

My daughter actually got married during and away LSU game- her husband nor any of the men were happy. The law was laid down the MEN would not be able to check phones radios etc during wedding or receptions.

As soon as the reception began her maid of honor asked me to come dance with her. She told me she had the game on her iphone (men were instructed but not women) To this day my daughter is so proud that her dad spent so much time with her best friend that day

As bad as it sucks that my father in law is a Bama fan, if he saw my wife planning a dinner during an LSU game, he would call her out, leave her home to take me to a bar and buy all my drinks as a way to apologize on behalf of his daughter.

Probably the first time someone should actually take advice from people on this website. Seriously man the fck up. You're an embarrassment to yourself and men every where. I am ecstatic OP and I are not friends. I mean that in the nicest way possible

The fact that you married into a Domer family tells me that going out to dinner during an LSU game is probably the least of your worries...bon chance mon ami and enjoy that no doubt sphincter clinching meal...
