Should've burned that stuff. Now your household is infected.

Seriously wife is planning Saturday night dinner during game at restaurant that does not have Tvs. Might have to bail on dinner. What say you?

Don't go or find new father in law.

Well I'm not married. But my dad's FIL has 8 season tix. Enough for every member of the family to go. So needless to say we never ran into this fricked up issue. One day those tix will be mine and I will not do a damn thing during the fall but hunt and watch the Tigers whip arse.

OP, reevaluate your life. And also, quit being a pussy.

The fact that you have been married 8 years and you are having to have this conversation and ask what to do is really sad.

You know what to do. Go do it.

Agree. This is a newlywed problem. Not an 8 yr problem.

If the guy is a ND grad he should understand your passion for college football. Pull him aside and tell him what is going on. He should change the plans himself and set his daughter right.

DVR the game and watch it later without hearing any talk shows after

Do this all the time when not at TS. Take wife to early dinner, come home, turn on the Tigers on DVR... I usually catch up to the game by halftime and am back to following it live.

You really really have to come back on here after the game and tell us how dinner went. I bet the FIL asks you about LSU's football team at least once during dinner. Be prepared...
