You would have to fight for the big TV in your own house?
Would the fight be with your FIL over which game or with your wife who want to watch Master Chef or something?

she's throwing down the gauntlet to see how big of a puss OP is, so she can determine how far she can go and when to start

Ed O'Neill (Married with Children) was in a movie named Dutch (1991).
He was a working class stiff dating the ex-wife of a rich a**hole.
The rich ex-husband was giving his ex-wife a really hard time.
Ed took him outside and did as you suggested.
No more problems!

I really wish I could post a gif of that scene.
Can anybody help with that?

1. If you have children do not go she cannot leave you

2. Never go to a restaurant that does not have T V

3. Married 46 years, hunting LSU football has always been first

Where are you eating

You'll lose it when your father-in-law says, "Let's order dessert!"

Awesome post coming from on-the-job experience. You have to set the tone. I have missed many of these with in-laws and always hear the "I'll never . . ., or why don't you just . . ." BS.
She ain't goin' nowhere.

Seriously wife is planning Saturday night dinner during game at restaurant that does not have Tvs. Might have to bail on dinner. What say you?

Obvious power play by the wife. Slippery slope here.

Go ahead, set the tone for the rest of your marriage. Give in and you're wearing a skirt baking souffles and shite in a year.

If you don't have the balls to lay down the law then go get a ladder and act like you are doing a chore and then fake a fall from the ladder and act like you sprained the shite out of your ankle or hang yourself.

My freaking mother in law PURPOSELY planned my wedding on a nice October Saturday night in 2006! Yeah it was against Kentucky, but damn there was a open date 2 weekends later and she KNEW IT! Needless to say we don't get along! LINK

Every female I've asked at the clinic about this question says that your wife is inconsiderate and doesn't respect you (OP). Better act now and take control of your household.

If my wife did that, I would laugh at her and tell her to have fun. I plan my sons AAU baseball schedule around LSU . That's just how it is. C'mon man . Do you want me to set things straight for you. As a fellow tiger, I am here for you

I forgot to tell everyone he is from Pittsburgh and also a steelers fan. The problem is obviously much bigger then the original title suggested. I was not honest with everyone. My kids get sent notre dame jerseys and also steelers swag.
