would lead you to believe he could get another play off in 3 sec?

maybe because the clock would've been stopped.
There would have been about 1 or 2 seconds left IF the ball would have been completely missed and hit the turf. More likely it would have been tipped and the clock would have run out.
Either way it was a terrible call and it was made by Miles without him having knowledge of how much time was left. He said right after the game that the play wasnt that risky because 18 seconds or so was on the clock.
Seriously, after witnessing Miles clock management skills does anyone really think he calculated out the 3 seconds that might have been left?

their analysts and analysis stink, but like you said, it's pretty much mandatory to take a shot at Les if he's gonna serve it up to them in the manner that he did.
they would be idiots for NOT trashing him. What else do you do , praise it?

Check out page 3 of this thread. A nice ranter has posted a picture for you of DByrd on the ground in the endzone and the clock reads 0:04. You can't disagree with the clock. Seriously. Check it out.
Also, what does "rotf" stand for in rotflmao. I already know what "lmao" stands for so no need to rehash that. Thank you.
Roll on the floor.
I checked it out. My thoughts earlier were there was no way they thought he was gonna get two plays off. Not the way they were managing it.

As posted earlier, you're ignoring Flynn letting 10 seconds run off the clock. Blaming Miles for that "situation" is reaching at best.

There is so much to bash Miles for, why some feel the need to make shite up is beyond me. The guy gives you plenty enough fodder as it is. The Auburn game is one of those. Use the real stuff, there is enough of it there.

I am glad you were entertained by my observation of the wimps at espn. Open letter to all who think they can do better. Change your major or quit your job so you can show off your great coaching abilities in real time. That includes the wimps from espn. If you are not man enough to get out there and coach a major college or pro team then ST_U.

I dont think thats correct. The clock was stopped when they snapped that ball I believe. There were about 8 or 9 seconds left.

Actually you do. I've seen that clip a millions times because I was on TV after the catch. There would have been 2 seconds had it been incomplete. An official review would have put two seconds back on the clock.
Yep, it was close...almost too close but there would have been 3 seconds added back to the clock.

I stand corrected on that. The ball was snapped with 9 seconds left.

No. The part where you said the clock was stopped.
The players came out of the huddle to the line with over 25 seconds left, and the clock was running, and Flynn(who somehow gets no blame) let the clock run all the way down to 8 or 9 before calling for the snap.
ETA: In Flynn's defense, he was reading the defense and getting the offense into position.

I hope you can be a great coach, but when that day comes you should thank me and Les for helping give you the courage to change your career.
