Palmer cited the Auburn game where they threw into the end zone and it worked,

This was a major frick up that worked out luckily. He had no idea there was such a small amount of time on the clock. (he was going by the time that was left before the previous play) I think he was asked and said as much.

Any mention of the Ole Miss game last year?

Yeah, talked about Auburn in 07, then Ole Miss in 08, then Tennessee in 10. Said the next time LSU loses because of clock mismanagement, he's gone.

and how if he does it again he thinks Miles will be canned.

why should it have to happen again?

its not just at end of games, its during last drives before half, calling timeouts in dead ball spots, etc etc etc......

I've summarized it a few times now. Auburn 07, Ole Miss last year, Tennessee this year. Les is a riverboat gambler, fans are tired of it. Next frick up might cost him his job.

I know, but he really bashes LSU every chance he gets. I would assume he is pissed about '03 but wasn't he on the team the next year when they took us to the woodshed?

Said the end of the game was an absolute debacle. Said that Les Miles was "out Les Miled" by Dooley. That it was classic Les Miles clock management meltdown and that he needs to learn how to read the clock.

They were doing top 3 downers from this weekend and we were #1 on Dashs list!

Miles has to get better now, he's getting ripped from every angle. You know LSU's Athletic Dept. doesn't like this publicity.

The only positives I've seen from him regarding lsu was

1) death valley was the hardest place to play
2) mike was the most badass mascot

Palmer was pretty much dead on, except about the Auburn game in '07. If Byrd doesn't catch the ball you still have about 3 seconds to kick.

That is true he does pump LSU as the most hostile place to play and acts if there is nowhere even close to it.

I think you need to go back and and watch a replay of that. If Byrd doesn't catch that ball, thats it. Theres no more time on the clock and LSU loses because they tried to throw a touchdown pass when a field goal wins it and were well within field goal range.

yeah, that pass could have been deflected too to help time run off.
