Great hires.

Great recruiting.

Helluva season.

The rebirth of Tiger football is upon us. The dip into just above average was short.

Geaux Tigers!!!!

Crushing what?
He had a nice season, but it was a season LSU should have yearly as far as I'm concerned. Recruiting looks fantastic right now and I'm glad he has kept it up, but he really hasn't made a significant hire. I want to see him really compete for an SEC title or a playoff spot.

Weak.

We're trending in the right direction, but still have some big questions. We'll see this year. No more excuses.

Actually the dip into greatness was short. We’ve been just above average for most of our history.

So here’s hoping we can have another dip into greatness.

You speak the truth. People won't like hearing that though.

Top 10 or so program all time is not "just above average."

Im confused. We went 9-3, which is basically what the program has been at since saban’s recruits left the program. How is O crushing it for going 9-3 when miles was blasted for that same record. Expectations have really dropped around here

Even if that is true, which I don't really agree with, it's irrelevant. We've been objectively great since the turn of the century. That is what we are right now, and all that matters. Getting back there is, and should always be, the expectation.

How the frick does saying LSU is a great program get almost all downvotes?

No. Some of us just realize success realistically takes time and like that we are trending upward. You are one of those internet morons who thinks being critical on a message board will somehow make LSU beat Bama.

When he was hired I thought we would be a dumpster fire by now. I was very wrong. He’s been honest about he and the teams deficiencies and has made steps to improve those areas. There’s an upward trajectory to the program for the first time in a long time.

- 9 to 10 wins should be the standard at LSU considering the talent
- top 7 recruiting should be a given because of the talent the state produces yearly
O is maintaining right now imo, I want to see the next step. The true test will come when he has to hire an OC/DC and getting over the Alabama hump into the national picture. Right now there is nothing to complain about, just the status quo for the past several years.

One of the ones who expected only 6 wins at most.

Exactly, he isnt doing bad, but its pretty much the same as the progrAm under miles, alot of the same assistants, good recruiting, great defense, and bad offense. Not much has changed. We even kept the same boring OC and people are hyped about a “passing game coordinator”. This seems like bily gonzales
