most plays are successful because they are executed well, not because the defense is confused...defenses knew what Tommie Frazier and Nebraska were going to run before most of the plays

execution is critical, but you have to keep a defense guessing
LSU does this...we set up play action all the time
and the option, by definition, keeps the defense back
